Heres a thought

Just a random thought on what I think is a possibility at the end of the season reguarding out coaches, If JG doesn't peform up to expectations and RR is offered a head coaching job somewhere else i think JJ would keep RR and let JG go account I think its easier to find an offensive coach more so than a a good defensive coach.. I think RR might be our next head coach if JG doesn't get the job done this year. Just a thought!

JG is a good HC, if anything they bring in an OC next year but Garrett is not going anywhere.

I promise you, short of death, zero percent chance.

Stranger things have happened, I'm on record as wanting Ryan as the HC before we hired Garrett. I at least wanted him to get an interview but was glad we at least got him as our DC.

Hos, your boy Garrett needs to pull this thing together because with this team and this schedule we should win 10+ games this year, anything short of that would be disappointing. If we end up 8-8 and the offense is playing subpar, like I said stranger things have happened.

If Garrett wants to save his job in the near future, he needs to hire an OC. If not, he will be on the hot seat very soon, week in and week out unless his playcalling changes drastically.

Im all for him staying for abit, this team will never get into a rhythm with revolving doors at HC. But if his situational playcalling does not change for the rest of the season, something needs to be done.

Garrett signed a 4 year contract

Any idea what rob ryan's contract is like?

Wishful thinking is good. No joke, zero % chance.

So if Garrett and his offense crash and burn and the dc of the leagues number 1 defense was the hottest coaching candidate you don't think Jerry would think about it.

Talk about motivating, he's taken pretty much the same players from one of the worst defenses to one of the best.

My statements aren't to bash Garrett as I have given him credit for going outside the box to hire Ryan, but if one side of the ball severely out performs the other side then people are going to start talking.

I'm just giving worst case scenarios that would make management at least have a conversation about it.

I 100% guarantee you I know he will not.

Honestly, Jerry doesn't even know what Jerry is thinking from one minute to the next.

I know he isn't thinking about a new coach. I suspect in a week or so everyone else will know that too. The team is 100% behind Garrett, and united like they have not been in over a decade. I'm not guessing.

It's a bad thought and it's not gonna happen. JG isn't going anywhere and he shouldn't. He's done wonders with this team already....

I'm more then happy to defend his playcalling on sunday but lets not get crazy here. I'm not seeing these wonders, this offense looked unprepared on sunday, they still make tons of mistakes and we're still finding ways to beat our selves. That's been a problem for the past 5-6 years and it still is. So what exactly has Garrett done to make us that much better?

All improvements from last season has been on the defensive side of the ball Robs side. The offense, Garrett's side, is a mess

When he criticized Garrett play selection, that didn't scream 100% behind him did it.

I agree with Hos, there is absolutely no chance Garrett is going to be replaced at the end of the season.

However, at the same time, Garrett is going to have to have some postseason success to keep this job long term.

If Garrett goes 3 straight seasons with no playoff wins, he will not see that 4th year on his contract.
