Does anyone else want to kick Jerry in the nards for giving two number 1s for Joey Galloway.

oh hell yeah, and excuse me, I love Julius Jones, he's a God, but we could have had Shaun Alexander :(

This team is light years ahead of the playoff team of '03. Back then we prayed, but now at least we compete.

What???

The 03 playoff team finished 10-6. They demolished the Lions, and shut out the Commanders. They beat the teams they were supposed to beat, and got beat by the playoff teams.

That team also finished with the #1 D in the league.

That team never gave up on the season.

We are not light years ahead of that team.

Well I think a lot of people are upset with THIS season because no Cowboy team in history started 7-3 and missed the playoffs.

That on top of coming out flat and getting smacked by the Giants and Commanders when they knew everything was on the line...Will upset people.

Thank you!

If anything this team is more similar to that 2003 team than many want to admit and thats not a good thing. Let us not forget, we were a very few points and some very lucky breaks away from being 3-13 this season. I dont call that a signifigant improvement from anything.

Parcells has failed miserably here.

Good call Eddie, the playoff team we lost to that year made it to the Superbowl.

What is a positive (in a way) is that everyone is so upset about our season.

Think about that. I don't recall anyone being this upset in any of Campo's 5-11 seasons. Why? Cuz we knew the potential wasn't there.

Now? We know we have a much better team. We KNOW we are greatly improved. So much that we're EXPECTING greatness already (eventhough, realistically, the team is young and simply wasn't ready or quite good enough to make it happen this year).

I'm not saying we should be happy with 9-7. Just pointing out that we, as fans, are at a point (again) where we know we have a good team and our expectations are up again. And that goes for the players too. Can you imagine how the team would of felt if they'd gone 9-7 under Campo? There'd be dancing in the streets cuz it WOULD have been a great accomplisment. But with this team, under Parcells, people (fans and players) are upset.

And that is a good thing (in a way).

You are correct......us fans have high expectations for this team!
