If the Chargers lose tonight and Norv is fired, Jerry fires Wade, promotes Garrett and Norn servs as OC:laugh2:

Hell look at NE. They are 11-5. Hell we don't deserve to be in the Playoffs. This team is a joke.

No, 9-7 is a crappy record too. Anything over 6 losses is weak to go into the playoffs with.

We deserve to be NOWHERE near the postseason.

In fact, we're so undeserving that if Houston were hosting a playoff game, our players should have been forced to vacate the state that weekend just to ensure we keep our proper distance.

We played our way right out of the playoffs. Not to be rude, but it's silly to clamor for this squad of nancies to be in the playoffs. Why? So we can endure one more week of embarrassment? Pass.

I think that's what he was getting at. Typing sarcasm just doesn't work sometimes.

People can say what they want about Norv in SD, but for the 2nd straight yr he's going to get the Chargers further than we're going.

They are playing really good football right now despite all their injuries, and nobody is playing better QB than Phillip Rivers is. He has turned him into probably the best passer in the league in a very short amount of time. I absolutely wont be surprised if they beat Indy next week.

Watch the Chargers in the postseason-they will fold like a 2 tent against the Colts.

Typical Norv-when his *** is on the line, he pulls out the performances of his life giving the FO, media, and fans false hope for next year. He did this many times in Washington.

But they won't even have a winning record!!! Oh, the injustice of it all.

Remember the grief many of us took for suggesting that Norv Turner was the right hire before Wade?

Well, no matter what you are going to say about an 8-8 record (if you want to make excuses the way they do for Wade, then the Chargers have more excuses), Norv Turner is about to take his team farther than ours FOR THE 2ND SEASON IN A ROW.

Last year AFC Championship

Now, in an elimination game, they are blowing out the Broncos.

Jimmy and the whole Fox crew praised Turner today, and Madden is doing the same right now.

I said at the time that you can't judge a coach based on any experience in Oakland, and when Turner was in Washington, their little owner was trying to be Al Davis.

His team struggled this year, but LT wasn't healthy, Gates wasn't healthy, Merriman (their version of Dware) was lost for the season in week 1, offensive line injuries, the Ed Hockuli call, etc, etc., but THEY WON THEIR FINAL 4 GAMES OF THE YEAR, if they win tonight, they will win their division and they will host a playoff game next week.

You're right.

Sadly, it's proving to be just another in a long line of bad decisions made by Jerry.

I've always liked Norv. He's been a brilliant play caller and developer of QBs. He got the bad rap due to Washington (who he had a miss field goal away from the NFC championship) and Oakland (where no coach ever succeeds). The problem was this team had issues on defense, not on offense when the team was looking to hire a head coach. Now, it's the complete opposite.

So, THIS is what a team is supposed to look like with a playoff birth on the line.

It's been so long that I've forgotten.
