First, I would "allow" Parcells to retire. Then I hire Ron Rivera (Bears DC) as head coach and he would bring back the 4-3.
I would try to trade T.O. for Jerry Porter (pipe dream) or just cut my losses with him.
In free agency, I would sign either Asante Samuels or Nate Clements. And G Eric Stiebach. I would also try to trade (#1 plus?) to Steelers for G Alan Faneca.
In the draft I would look for Levi Jones (#1 if we don't trade) Dwayne Bowe Wr.
Defense would be:
DE Ware, Ratliff
DT Canty, Spears
DT Ferguson
DE Ellis, Hatcher
OLB Carpenter
MLB James
OLB Akin A.
CB Newman
CB Samuel or Clements
SS Williams
FS Henry
Offense would be:
WR Glenn and Porter
TE Witten
QB Rome
RB Jones, Barber, Hoyte
OT Adams
GFaneca
C Gurode
GStienbach
OT Colombo

Rivera would make the defense more agressive, and Ware is bigger than Haley ever was so I think he could play DE

this team needs to be BLOWN UP!!!

but since we cant... maybe just BLOW UP the coaching staff!

I guess we will have 2 more Weekends of the BS!!!

We need a stronger passrush than what either Ellis or Ware brings. WE need a game changing passrusher. We also need a better starting RB, maybe Barber could be that, but we need a game changing RB and or WR. We also need more speed on the defensive side of the ball.

How about mixing the gameplan up somewhat? That would be a start. We are so predictable it isn't even funny.

Parcells must go, for those who can't see that, there's no amount of arguing that can help. I've been screaming for three years that he's just a pay check drawing fraud and several December collapses should show that. We need a young, hungry 4-3 guy in here. Screw the flawed 3-4 and its big, slow, players and stupid schemes.

I'm beginning to believe this more and more with each approaching day.

Switching back to the 4-3 isn't going to fix the team overnight. Canty is no DT in the 4-3.

The team needs a DC that is willing to die in order to thrive.

Creative schemes and masked blitzes, not walk to the line and run into the guard and think someone else will get through, how vanilla.

The offense needs some youth on the OL (Rivera please go) and see if we have an eventual young WR somehow.

Also, need a true OC. Parcells is great at finding talent and bringing it up. He makes everyone a Parcells guy that he wants. Problem is, he only takes them to a certain level, no more, and no one else takes them anywhere.

Nothing will fix this team overnight. I'm afraid it will be a long time before they are a serious Super Bowl contender. However, I just believe the 4-3 is inherently a better defense than the 3-4.

I'm all for blowing up the coaching staff,if it includes Bill Parcells.

The only part I'm slightly interested in would be looking at Ron Rivera.

The one thing I agree with you on is hiring Ron Rivera as head coach. The only thing I worry about is Jerry Jones undrcutting his ***.

Incredible. Wasn't it a 3-4 defense that won the Super Bowl last year and the favourite this year employs the same 3-4???

It's not the scheme people and it's not the talent. This coaching staff simply doesn't know how to execute it in the current NFL.

When executed correctly (see Indy game) it's a thing of beauty and is capable of shutting down any offense.
