well I saw the possibility, and also by not signing him early on, and trying to franchise him, that was a big mistake, it messed with
his mind, and imo got him focused on getting the contract, not staying in shape, so when they did sign him, he wasnt ready to play
and his mindset wasnt the same.
That imo led to the injury, and now he just isnt the same player, then his dad dies, so that affects him mentally.
only time will tell if they get their moneys worth.

I thought back then, either sign him early or franchise him and stick to it, and let him go if need be.

They had no intention of letting him go, so the contract delay and franchise move was stupid.

So far they are paying for a elite wr and have got avg to less than avg out of him.
He did before we were taking on the Eagles I believe. He said that we were pretenders and we wouldn't be the best team in CFL and defense couldn't even stop a CFL team. In fact he's hated a lot on us this year. Every time I see a negative headline this year it's usually Lombardi saying it. Think he just might be going for publicity

We all know the loser-liar has no link.

Anything and everything mugsy posts should be viewed as questionable.

It's one thing to have a silly opinion. That happens. But to deliberately plant words in somebody else's mouth is as gross as it gets. He's lying and he knows he's lying.

The guy should get banned.

Dez is on the decline. It happens.
Romo to Dez, Romo to MeShawn. They come and go.
Why should Dez be special? Or, now, Romo?
I'm not saying that Bryant can't improve his game but really, the four games leading up to the Giants matchup...head to head vs. Beckham...who should not be "in decline" is as follows:

Bryant...21 - 352 yds - 4 TDs (16.7 ypc)
Beckham...31 - 339 yds - 3 TDs (10.9 ypc)

It's too easy to say the problem with Dez is his rookie QB, Dez deserves some of the blame. After 14 weeks, these two should be gelling by now. Get it done!

I think this is spot on. Dez doesn't get seperation and Dak isn't accurate enough to squeeze passes into tight spots consistently.
This makes no logical sense. How did Bryant roll up over 1300 yds on 88 receptions and catch 16 TD passes in 2014 if he doesn't get separation?

It simply takes time for a QB and his #1 receiver to develop a productive rapport with one another. The periods of Dez being limited and held out of practice certainly hasn't helped the situation as far as that's concerned, either. Let's be sufficiently patient and allow them time to get their act together before we prematurely criticize them for not adhering to our lofty expectations. I'm confident they'll improve given time to do so -- and if they somehow fail, it's entirely possible that the staff will do whatever it takes to correct the problem. There are other WRs to go to in the meantime.

And, good lad, if Dez the franchise WR makes two catches against NY, we are 12-1 ... Or at least have a better chance.

But, realistically, Dez seems to lose the ball at critical junctures. His hands become smaller than Donald Trump. 2014 was unfair; it was a catch. Last week was just awful. It was unfair to Dak who needed help.
Blimey! No one can argue his stock and dependability are in decline

Cool trade him and romo in a package deal and let's move on.....

Defense wins championships and I'm tired of having offensive cry babies... the dezs and T.Os of the world having a place on this team need to end

Because he had a QB who could make NFL throws. Dez is not a speedster. He gets NFL open but not college open.

Go watch Concussion for the 100th time.
Don't mind Fuzzy Lumpkins. He knows everything, and he's the team doctor. Hey Fuzzy, are you ever going to go back to DCU and apologize to Rynie for calling him a troll, when he was right because he actually has sources?

You don't have to answer. I know you won't.

We seemed to have Dez on a lot more "completion %" routes last night IMO which is a good thing having him involved like that. That is a great way to use him rather than the low percentage stuff they usually do. He will break one of those soon.
