this thread is sacrilicious

Hopefully, in 8 years, Romo will have won at least 2 SB's and I will be forgiven my blasphemy.

No, realistically. Dude's got a time machine read to go. Just say the word.

this has got to be the funniest post of the day/week/year. Maybe i am quite happy today for the whooopin, Dallas put on Cleveland.......but whatever the reason, I juts literally laughed out loud at work!

:lmao:

In thier prime!

Roger with out a doubt, the man was just the best.

You were probably well on your way to hell, anyway.

But to answer your intriguing question: Staubach.
I guess all things being equal, Roger was smart on and off the field.
Romo has the makings of an alley cat off the field. Aikman never seemed to be on the MENSA fast track off the field.

Roger, my hero, was always smart, off and on the field.

If the Line is always gonna play like that ...... Aikman.

If there are gonna be a few jail breaks in a game and a need to improvise ....... Romo.

If we did not have as many weapons ...... Staubach
Echo this.

Yes, for overall hero status, you have to go with Captain America, but as far as QB play...............

Maybe I am just caught up in the hype, but I am really starting to believe we should break out the annoiting oil.

I'll take Roger Staubach any day, in any offense. He was just that good.

it is difficult to pick, but I would have to go with Aikman.

If Jimmy gave Aikman the keys to the offence and turned him loose, his numbers would be off the charts.

Lucky for us, it is all about winning.

In his prime, I take Staubach.

He was mobile, could avoid the blitz, made great decisions with the football, was a leader of men, and was a winner.

(Of course, that's nothing against Romo or Aikman! But it's a tough choice!)

read the heading.smart ellic.

I take Aikman. Solid under pressure, accurate as hell, and a golden arm.

He could have put up incredible numbers on a prolific passing team, but instead he had the NFL's all-time rushing leader.

my thoughts exactly...

personally i always have preferred Aikman's style of quarterbacking any way...its sick how him and those like him (Peyton the elder) can completely pick apart a defense.
