Wow! That explains a lot.

Including the difference between him pre and post Viking trade.

I'll bet the Vikes try to get back some of those picks because they didn't get the guy they traded for. They got Sybil.

Well, this makes the trade a bit more even. Maybe Jimmy and Jerry convinced the Vikings that Herschel was really 17 different players.

From what I understand, MPD is usually associated with severe abuse or some major mental trauma. Anyone know if that was the case here?

I loved the class with which Herschel carried himself during both his Cowboy stints.

Yeah, something never was quite 'right' with him but impressive what he's done with himself despite these limitations.

Shame Walker wasn't around here for the good times.

"That's all news to me," former Georgia coach Vince Dooley said. "All I know is whatever personality he had when he had the football was the one I liked."

:laugh2:

That's a coach for you.

I wonder if Walker and his agent are just trying to sell a book, especially since those close to him are surprised by this revelation. This doesn't seem to be the type of thing one can hide or one that people develop later in life.

If he were around, there would have been no good times.:

That's right, and including a ballet dancer capable of skipping through the line of scrimmage on his tippy toes or tossing his fullback into the opposing defensive line, knocking them over like so many bowling pins. It was quite a sell by Jerry...
