This is probably a waste of everyone's time but has anyone see the rookie Matt Cassel for New England. He looks really good for being a back-up all through college.

I did not get a chance to see it.

But I will share my opinion on preseason.

Is is damn important to those guys who are trying to earn a job. I would say the stress level is higher for the bubble guys than it is for guys during the regular season. Because the bubble guys are looking at either making hundreds of thousands of dollars or working at the local walmart.

Yep...if you want to see some guys perform under pressure....watch a preseason game.

Yes and the next poster will conclude that Matt Cassel proves that:

1. Romo is a shoo in... or not
2. Henson is a shoo in... or not
3. Bledsoe is a shoo in... or not

And to whatever is said, the poster following that will vehemently disagree and conclude the opposite.

After all of that I can honestly say that I didn't watch the game closely after Brady left. :)

Just another opportunity we missed out on in the draft :p:

Not to mention another opportunity for the guys at the Mickey Mouse network in CT to glow about the Bill in their area and how he's so much better at spotting QB talent than our Bill.

I saw the end of the game....... and, Matt Cassel has a very strong arm. He was really humming the ball around. That doesn't mean he will be a good QB, but he can throw for sure.

Not being fresh here, but if Cassell pans out, he is better at spotting QB talent than our Bill. He has won three Super Bowls with one of them.

Besides, Coach Parcells does not "spot" QB talent.

He recycles it.

It would help, if we invested a pick on a QB every decade or so. Even a mid to late round one would be a start.

I think our chances of finding a QB would improve considerably.
