Hey, Old Timer Cowboys Fans...

Mr. Copper & Mr. Joseephus have now gone to the top of my people to get even with list.

Yes we had TV (Admiral 17" B&W W/35' antenna) :D

The DrPepper taste better in those days also. ;)

I will be dead honest with you. I don't think it was near as bad back then to lose. I flat out do not remember Cowboys fans turning on their own players the way fans do now. Yes, we criticized when they did bad, but I don't think it ever got personal. I couldn't stand Steve Pelleur, no one ever responded to me there the way Q, Hutch, Vinny & Bledsoe fans have. You could actually talk calmly and rationally about what you wanted from your team.

I don't remember myself turning on coaches & players but Merdith was give alot of grief by fans and as well as Landry in the early years. End of the "64-65" season there were people ready to run him out of town on a rail. :bang2:

It's a shame Meredith retired so young (31), but he was a crash test dummy for too long.

Yes it is.......The Cowboys were just another NFL Team until Meredith came along. He put us in the National spot light......Center stage.
