Easy McFly. Those two drives were called "2 minute offense." We aren't going to play that all game long. We were just as good with the regular offense, except for turnovers and penalties and dropped balls. Noone dropped a ball or had a penalty on those 2 drives.

From lack of rhythm.

Our lack of preseason game time + lulling everyone to sleep with the snap count invited all of those things to start happening IMO.

The theory behind it makes sense but when you clearly can't build a rhythm because of it then maybe it should be tossed out the window for that week.

We needed to overwhelm the Giants.. Not lull everyone to sleep including our own players.

Dallas needs to be fast paced and THEN when you have a lead start running the clock down.

Between the running the clock down, and commercials we found ourselves in a huge hole once the turnovers started happening.

No rhythm.

well, I don't buy the rhythm thing. our rhythm is 30 seconds. so they should know. and if the players lull to sleep because of 3 seconds. they don't belong to the team.

there is obvious draw backs, because if you need time at the end, then you are runin gshort, so having a good 2 minute offense helps (which we seemed to have). but gives your defense a rest. perhaps a good strategy against the eagles....I rather have our offense in the game, than theirs.

Against the EAgles it's a great strategy but I would not start the game doing it.

Get some points and then go into it.

But doing it the entire game is just as bad as playing no huddle the entire game.

Teams could just as easily chew clock on us because our defense is built on LIMITING POINTS but we will give you all the yards and first downs you want.

So get a lead and then force teams to throw down field into the teeth of our defense and give our pass rush a chance to get after the QB instead of giving up 3-5 yards every play.

everyone welcome to their opinion, but that's highly unlikely. lulling to sleep is probably a little comedic. we are talking about 3-4 seconds. the fast pace Kelly offense is about 22-23 seconds. again, you may fall sleep, but I doubt the players are sleepy.

That's fine but I clearly see a team that is out of rhythm and then we get into the redzone and just start falling apart with penalties and false starts.

If I was playing against the Cowboys I would absolutely love it if they allowed me to get set up and make all of my adjustments. Thanks Cowboys.

I think it worked well last year as it helped force the opponent to play at the Cowboy's pace. When you're controlling the clock, it helps create fewer possessions and the most efficient offense (usually the Cowboys) wins. Whether it works as well this year without Murray and now without Dez remains to be seen.

well, what you see is not what others saw. we had one penalty inside the 5. guess by whom? .... Witten who through the years has been culprit of jumping off side regardless of how we ran the offense. but I am sure you blame the lack of rhythm.

also, what trouble inside the 20? we scored when we were there.... our fumbles and turnovers were not there. we were there 5 times and came away with three TDs. one of the field goals was Dez dropping a ball that he should have had.

I bet that's garrett's fault some how.

So running it down to :001 provides no scientific benefit? there was 8 minutes left in the first drive. No one said run the 2 minute offense all game long. There is a nuance of deliberation and pressing the issue.
