It took Jerry forever to spend that 1st on some beef (DL big boy).

He had 5 sacks and 56 tackles as a rookie. He was one of the most active DTs in the league from the minute he arrived.

Yeah I dont have any exact numbers, but Mazi has been a 3 or 4 tech significantly more than a 1T. He's also been a better pass rusher than run player. It's sort of the exact opposite of what everyone thought they would groom Mazi to be.

Some will say he’s a dud or spent too high a draft pick.
Answer probably somewhere in the middle.
This trust for playing time and PFF Metrics are what we wanted to see a while ago. Hopefully means he is improving for the better.
Be nice to have a big man like that just ‘get it’ right before the Playoffs.
