[Hill] Cowboys are still working with Dak's agent. We still got time is what I was told

I'm pretty neutral on Dak myself. It's whatever. As long as Mahomes is in this league, nobody else has a QB good enough. But now when the Cowboys fail, I take pleasure in the pure frustration and hatred that Dak apparently brings out on the mentally and emotionally disturbed so call fans on here that cannot let anything Dak go without spewing vomit all over the Fan Zone. So It's a win - win for me. And I would just like to thank the unbalanced posters on here, for making that so. Keep it up. And keep your prescriptions filled.

An announcement while the pregame shows are beginning is the type of top of the news cycle Jerry Jones would love. It's not about football. It's about likes, views, being in the news, being talked about.

Let's see how it plays out folks. Almost game time for week 1.

Forgot to mention, when Jerry and son refuse to comment about the contract situation to the press anymore, the deal is 99% done.

Yep. And if we are all being honest, if we were in their position, we would prioritize making money and increasing the value of the franchise to keep our family's generational wealth secure too. Just like the players want to do. If anyone on here is saying they would pick a superbowl over hundreds of millions of dollars, you're lying.

Where's the thread that states that inside info points to an deal being imminent between NOW and 2025?

Thanks for posting all these" Close to a Deal" threads.....they've been very informative

This is the most drawn out foolishness I've ever seen. I believe both parties already have privately known the outcome for weeks.
I literally cannot stand the culture that is the Dallas Cowboys. We are NOT a serious football team. As fans, acceptance is the last stage of our grief!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If they give Dak 60 million how much should Purdy receive???

They are actively trying for both, but are much better at one than the other.

Who actually believes they are "working" on it.

Either one of two things is true. Terms have already been agreed upon and this is just Jerry's circus side show in action, or each side has the other's best offer and are at a stalemate.

Pretty unlikely there is any haggling over minutia going on at this stage of the game.

I’m curious to hear everyone’s plan if he actually ends up leaving. Who would be our new guy?

I wonder if the team will be extra motivated for this game and play at a higher intensity level just so that Dak doesn't look bad. I wish they would do that every game.

Back quite some time ago, and after a closely fought battle against the Chiefs, their players came out and said they had to raise their intensity level to match the Cowboys. When was the last time a team said that about us?
