Who were the two highly ranked safeties we passed on in the 2nd round that dropped to us? Anyone know how these guys are doing with their respective teams this year?

Um, have you been living under a rock?

Both Thornhill and Rapp have got their fair share of kudos for their play this year.

Meanwhile, we have fat dumpy dork Hill talking about his one goal in life right now is to not fall asleep during inspirational speeches and Marinelli saying his one job is to make him get his crap in gear.

It is sad. A dumb and lazy high maintenance kid paired with an enabling old man who thinks he can somehow get him in gear.

I think that would be a heck of a sitcom plot.

Maybe he should take him bowling and become his pal...

Its one thing to be a lazy high maintenance kid in high school/college when your not being paid for it, but when you have potential to make millions off football, its pretty sad.

Delaware S Nasir Adderly was on the board also....he is related to fmr packers and Cowboys great Herb Adderly.
not sure how he is doing with the chargers.

I wanted Ohio St DT Dre'mont Jones.
he was my dream pick.
but obviously they didnt think too much of him.
I was excited when he fell to us....think he ended up with the broncos.

I thought Rapp went before our pick?

What teams drafted those two guys?

But see, the thing was, he supposedly wasn't lazy or high maintenance.

Marinelli like did all his research and stuff.

He talked to the coaches at UCF. And even went to Frost who was a year removed.

At the end of the day, that seems intensive, but all it was about was visiting with his former coaches. They probably liked him as a kid, he does not seem surly or disrespectful, so they said kind things and the old man ran with his special twitch kid.

My personal opinion is that he is soft. Like pillow soft. Like mama cut the crusts off his bread, overfed him out of guilt, you name it. And now he is being asked to grow up.

He could have all the quick twitch in the world, but unless you have some aggression and grit, you will absolutely fail in this league.

You can get by in college with that, especially coming off the bench, as he did his senior year.

I just don't get how you can dismiss him not starting his senior year as a huge red flag that would keep you from taking him high.

I agree. If someone is asking who took these guys and where they play that is pretty sad considering half the NFL season is over.

Why should I know the players we passed on and where they play? LOL

So you follow everyone we pass on? How many times have you watched Rapp play smart guy?

I think enough has been made about how bad Hill is and how good Thornhill around here that you should have at least been curious.

I watch almost all games. Perhaps you should as well. It might give you a better perspective.

As for the Rapp question, plenty of times. The Rams are not exactly invisible, toiling in obscurity. Nor are the Chiefs.

Rapp has been riding the bench smart guy. LOL

He only started a few weeks back because the starter got injured. If you have really been watching then you would have known that.

Too funny. Troll much?

Why do you keep bringing up Rabb? What’s your point?
I think you are giving him too much credit, yet confusing him at the same time. He might be googling Taylor Rabb furiously, wondering why the results do not seem to make sense.
