Rapp has started the last two games for the Rams. He has played liberally in subpackages all season long.
He has made 44 tackles on the season, which is 43 more than Hill has made all year.
Dumb much?
People like you really are annoying. You ask a question. You don't like the answer, then you get belligerent.
Okay, let's play Dre.
You brought up that Thornhill and Rapp got it easy because they got on the field.
Tell me about Hill.
Tell me exactly why he couldn't get on the field.
Everyone should send a thank you to Marinelli for this clear success of a pick.
sheesh, uneccessarily harsh response man, the guy is seeking info, why not just help him out with an answer or dont replyUm, have you been living under a rock?
Both Thornhill and Rapp have got their fair share of kudos for their play this year.
Meanwhile, we have fat dumpy dork Hill talking about his one goal in life right now is to not fall asleep during inspirational speeches and Marinelli saying his one job is to make him get his crap in gear.
It is sad. A dumb and lazy high maintenance kid paired with an enabling old man who thinks he can somehow get him in gear.
I think that would be a heck of a sitcom plot.

Thornhill was always my crush. I don't see how you can compare him alongside Hill as a pure prospect and come away with that and decide to take Hill.Taylor Rapp has played 58% of defensive snaps for the Rams, He has 43 tackles and 3 passes defended. He has Jeff Heath-like completion rate of 68.8% rate against him ( 22 completions on 32 targets)
Juan Thornhill has played 93% of defensive snaps for the Chiefs. He has 30 tackles, 2 passes defended, and 1 INT. Has a 37.5% completions rate against him (3 completions on 8 targets). His coverage must be amazing since he has played 93% of available snaps and only been targeted 8 fricken times.
Trysten Hill has played in 19% of available defensive snaps for the Cowboys and has 1 tackle.
The issue for me was that Trysten Hill is exactly the player he showed he was in college. Good first step, poor everything else. College teams do not bench NFL caliber 3Techs. They play him and tolerate the issue. Posters here can generate all the excuses in the world and nothing changes the fact that a college team trying to make the playoffs, as undefeated UCF was trying to do in 2018, does not bench an undeniable talent.
Another issue was Juan Thornhill was so clearly the pick. He's a high-SPARQ guy, he has "position flex" (started at CB and S for UVA), and we have been subpar at safety for years. No-brainer pick and his performance so far has proven that.
I am sure this wasn't his fault, or something.Either way, I'm sure Rapp and Thornhill aren't falling asleep in team meetings/inactive as 2nd rounders and weren't benched in college for being lazy malcontents.
His mom did name him Trysten...little slack but not too muchI am sure this wasn't his fault, or something.
Here is my thing.Next year is going to be brutal with the hate threads on this guy. Not defending him or the pick but there are going to be so many threads on this in the foreseeable future.
As opposed to Woods, Collins, and Covington and the express lane provided to our Lbs?And the Chiefs defense sucks along with the Rams. Quite easy to get on the field on those teams.
Are those safeties inactive? Pretty sure they’re not.
Rapp has been riding the bench the first 6 weeks. He was a backup until the starter got injured.

Because he's playing behind better players. Who's playing in front of thornhill in KC as it been noted Rapp has been playing spot duty
