It feels to me like ALL of our recent coordinators do that. Garrett, Linehan, and now Moore. They forget about that element of the offense which allows opponents to creep up on everything.
Been happening for a long time now. You need to go deep a few times a game even if there is nothing there to let the defense know that you can. Its not difficult to understand but our OC likes to get cute when he shouldnt and constantly goes away from things that are currently working. We can be running at 6.8 yards a clip in the first half and he will come out throwing in the second. Its mind boggling.

I don’t have very high expectations from TY, however if he has even close to the same speed he used to have this would be a late season steal. Rooting for that!

He will need a game or so to get going but the way he runs routes is exactly what the doctor ordered. He is a guy that runs great routes and has great hands/catch radius to be a guy his size. He will give Dak cleaner windows to throw the ball and take some of that heat off by being able to beat coverage on the outside. This will open up the windows Dak has been forcing the ball into because teams will have to respect his ability to beat you for big plays.

Having a veteran like him is usually a good thing. We have seen the impact Peters has had on Tyler Smith, hopefully, Hilton can do the same for Tolbert, etc.
He’s a really good route runner and really reads the defenses well. He’s still fairly fast but his route running is really good

Let's let Urban Meyer be the final judge of who grinds the best.
