I think the addition of Hilton and Washington points directly on Gallup who always was this team's best down the field receiver. Thus far this season, haven't see one catch down the field, which suggests he still isn't full back from that ACL. The other two will help the offense over the top and prevent teams from sitting on the shorter routes.

He was never going to be who he was til next year.

Think that is why they added Washington for protection. Unfortunately, he got hurt in camp and has yet made an impact.

Yeah if it was an entire season I'd expect him to break down but being fresh for a 4 game stretch before the playoffs should alleviate that concern.

...my feeling is exactly what yer implying. He's going to OPEN the field for Dak. Hilton will take a FS and maybe CB with him. Leaving huge areas open.

Why weren’t the decision makers able to see/realize this sooner. It’s a throwing league - unless you have a QB who can’t.
