I'm thankful tonight that I found 3 clean enough songs that were good enough to post by my man, Snoop! lol
Much respect for post but esp last Pac drop. Loved the that track! Nice drop. Hate to say though, it really magnifies Snoop's lack of flow in comparison.

They get a lot of flack present day but they were "it" in DC for a minute in the 90's and am still a fan. Twister's influence obv as well (any speed rappers tbh). Memphis claims their flows were stolen (reason for feud) but bone mixes an artistic rhythm and is much more graceful in presentation (well to be fair they had Eazy $ backing their cds and Memphis rappers were making cds/cassettes in their basements); the content wasn't all that different at the time though bc this relates more to E-99 when Eazy's influence was more apparent.

That would be definitely a cool concept but mainstream success stories wouldn't likely want to put their reputation on the on line to interrupt the cash flow. And really it is just too subjective and everyone will still hold their personal faves are better/won for variable x, y, etc. That sounds more fan driven which doesn't prove much either considering the bias factor again. A battle rap type of formula would work but that is just free-styling and negates deeper thought or even broaching specific topics because they wouldn't be relevant, etc.

Keeping up with old school six (first mass produced album (not solo tapes) - limited supply bc was still solely independent, etc.) 95 Really shows the contrast from their UG days to the mainstream stuff you see that gave them name recognition. Don't think this would get mainstream play
Downplay their "blood" ties as time went on as well; similar to Snoop with crabs. The reason rappers downplay these affiliations is that it can give DA's the ammunition they need to prove conspiracy, etc. Just more fyi stuff. Master P was once a huge target for RICO related charges the govt was aggressively investigating to bring charges against him. Cleaning dope money using legitimate music businesses basically.

Gangsta Pat: One one the pioneers to the Memphis scene in early 90's. This song speaks of different "nature" between natural weed and PCP, dipper, "woater", boat, etc. laced green (created in DC in late 70's after initially using tea). Wouldn't recommend it at all and was/is a Stupid rite of passage in some parts (usually to get amped for something you wouldn't/shouldn't have the nerve to do otherwise) that I thought dwindled but I still see it present day in certain cities esp (DC, NO, Balt. LA, DET, Miami). Inner city meth without the addiction.

Chill display of Gangsta Pat's range (predates Bone) can see their argument (supported by facts) to claim Bone's "original" flow wasn't so much original but stolen magnified with $ and Eazy's influence leading to media exposure. Still love Bone however seeing as I didn't have much reason to care as I just enjoyed both sides music.
