Only twice since the Romo era began has this team been in the top half of the league in defensive quarterback rating, and no that isn't cherry picking.

The two years in question? 2007 and 2009. Ranked 5th and 16th respectively. Went 13-3 in 2007, and one a playoff game in 2009.

I don't think this is at all a coincidence at all.

This is a passing league, and we've been awful against QBs. We make 3rd string guys look like Peyton Manning... we make Peyton Manning look like.... well Peyton Manning on steroids...

The idea that Romo could bring us to 48 points in a game and still lose...is a stunning reflection of what our team has been since he has been QB. Just bad enough to lose despite his efforts.

I believe we've seen that Romo has one of the highest QB ratings in games lost in NFL history.

This isn't just about the secondary, or the pass rush, it's the linebackers too. We need to put guys out there that can do their job, whether it is rushing the QB or covering receivers.

Your best post to date.

Last year, in games lost, Payton Manning had a 87 rating, Brady had a 71 and Kaepernick 46.

Tony Romo had a 104.5 rating with 17 tds and 3 ints. In LOSSES. Thats insane. Nobody could win with this team. How can anyone blame Romo.

Oh they can. But don't ever cross the Dez loyalists. I've even been called a troll for denying his stardom.
