I'm grew up down the street from the HOF. They play the game at McKinnley Bulldogs statium, a HS venue. It's a huge deal in Canton and pretty much all that small rust belt city has. It's been played there for like 30 years plus so they know what they are doing. Someone messed bad this year but you'd think they'd check the field a day prior?

I disagree. If you knew how truly hard it is to score a goal in soccer, then it's pretty exciting every time they get close. (IMO)

Agreed, but stuff like that happens about once every three years. After that goal I would imagine the balance of that game was spent playing keep away and stalling.

There is a lot of boring NFL games too.

If you watch the premiere league it is on par with regular season excitement with the NFL.


The game is a chess match and a 1-0 soccer game isn't much worse than a 14-10 NFL game if you're a true fan of the sport.

It would be hard for a lot of non-Americans to watch a 14-10 NFL game and get bombarded with commercials all the time.

2. It doesn't look like the field has improved since last year's HOF game. Remember that Steelers K Shaun Suisham tore his ACL and was out for the whole season.
