Basically, if Sunday Night were an NBA game the Saints would have shot 34 for 37 from the field. If they were playing blackjack it would have been the equivalent of beating the house 12 hand in a row. They were unconscious. But things have a tendency of balancing out and reaching a natural equilibrium, and steep highs are usually followed by plunging lows. That's not to say that overall the Saints aren't a good team or that they can't beat us again in the playoffs, I just don't see them maintaining that level of play for any sustainable time.

Saints fan so flame away if you want, but the Saints have beaten their last 3 opponents by a combined 107-40.

So, if they they beat the house 12 hands in a row they've done it for three straight weeks.

Agreed, I'm a Saints fan as well but I really think people overlook the Saints -- they are the #1 Offense in the NFL and have been for weeks, Drew Brees hasn't just had a couple good games, the whole year he only has 2 games where his QB Rating was less than 85. The Defense, while not stellar like a Baltimore or Chicago, is ranked 12th despite having played 7 games against top 10 offenses. We're not the Ditka Saints, we're not the Archie Manning era Saints, this is a different team.

At this time I could see Dallas making it to the #3 seed but I really think the Saints will get a big boost off of this game and with 2 home games left I think the Super Dome is going to be rocking, Saints fans have never had much to cheer about in their history they do now. Saints have the skins who look poor, that game is in NO. The giants: that could be a loss up in NY depending on which giant team shows up (should the giants lose to Philly that could be enough to cause the giants to implode) and the Panthers back in NO, a panther team who looks as if they are done. I could see the saints lose maybe 1 I really doubt they will lose 2 of the remaining games.

I don't really care about having a Bye. I would rather us go into the playoffs with some momentum. Winning the division should be our main goal. We got to take care of Atlanta first.

Call it what you will but I don't see the Saints losing 2 out of the next 3 game. (Skins,Giants and Panthers) They are playing very good football right now and have 2 games at home and are facing 2 teams who have pretty much packed it in for the season. Call it using common sense if you like, there are no sure things except death and taxes but this is not far behind.

Well Tyke... I gotta tell ya... when we were 4-4 and the Giants were 6-2... it didnt look like we could eventually pull 2 games ahead... but we did.... I just dont believe in conceding anything when IT IS NOT WRITTEN.... too much football left.... New Orleans could lose next game and then in the next two games New Orleans can have an INT returned on them to lose a game that they were gonna win... etc... so ....
