Holding on Cruz 70 yarder

I can live with marginal calls but in rewatching the game, only one of our holding calls was blatant and that was on Smith behind the play and had no baring on the play. They had 5 or 6 blatant ones and only one was called.

I loved the one where Ware was totally clotheslined right in front of the ref and nothing was called

this is not new, just watch harbaugh interact with the refs making sure he gets the calls and watch garrett passively standing on the sideline like a statue.

So now it's JG fault, the refs are blowing calls? SMFH.

I've come to grips with the fact that refs will rarely call holding on the Giants OL. It has been that way for years and it's not going to change unless something drastic happens.

So the refs can come back and screw us when it really matters? Where did that get Harbaugh in the Super Bowl on that holding play to Crabtree? NO WHERE.

bull. last year that was true. now that he doesn't call plays I saw Jason yelling at refs time and time again.

Agreed. He used an expletive in frustration as a matter of fact.

That is one rule that I think should be changed and that is 10 yards for holding. Make it 5. With 10 it just takes the team out of it way too much. Especially since there is holding on almost every play and the refs just call it when then want...

The good news is that Cruz and the Giants can salsa back to NY with a loss slapped on their sorry butts.

I've always felt it should be 5 yards as well. I feel it is a discretionary call that sometimes allows refs to change momemtum of the game, or simply stall for more commercial time. Don't beleive me? Next time you watch an NFL or televised college game that is running fast, say the first quarter ends in 30 minutes instead of the assumed 45, finnicky calls start to pop up to slow the game down to allow for the already paid for advertisement time slots.

Add me to the list who thinks 10 yards for holding is 5 too many. It's just too erratic to be such a huge penalty.
