Holland: The Difference?

The pitcher for the Rangers tonight? Yes, he was the difference.

Fiammetta was the biggest difference today IMO. He had more than a few great blocks, including one that sprung Murray's 91 yarder, and got to the second level of the defense without falling over himself like so many Cowboys "fullbacks" since the Moose have.

I'm convinced his mustache is a seperate entity, it's somwhere between rapey and sophisticated.

Hey Quest, did anyone ever tell you that you're kinda of an *******?
Jus sayin....tool

Congratulations to Montrae Holland. Man, that guy is in great shape now and moving well and getting a good push and getting to the second level. If he can keep that up, it's going to be a fun rest of the year.

Tony Fiammetta was great today, too. It was good to see him back out there. It sure is nice to have a legit fullback on this football team who knows how to play the position and is built to play it.

Holland played very well today, however "it was the Rams dude" as other posters have pointed out.:D

Holland is and always has been a solid player for the Cowboys on the oline. His problem is that he doesn't work out and stay in shape well enough, so he is frequently injured.

It might make better sense to put Holland at RG since he was supposed to be our starter there before getting hurt. But I do think it's possible kosier will get replaced by one or the other if he continues to struggle.

I think this is a good idea but I don't think the Cowboys will do it. I think that the Cowboys probably want Kosier at RG because they want him beside Smith. Kosier probably helps that situation a lot because he is technically the very best OL we have. He probably does some coaching there that most of us don't see. Look at how much better Free played when Kosier was at LG. I absolutely think that Free and his struggles this year are directly related to the move of Kosier from LG to RG. JMO thou.

It looks like Holland got the proverbial "wake-up call" when the Cowboys released him. He got busy, got in shape and yesterday played very hard. If he doesn't get complacent again, he's going to be a huge asset.

I think we should just call him Fiat.

:D
I used to drive a Fiat Spider. You'd be going down the road and it would suddenly fry the condenser and die. I never got the problem fixed. But if you promise me Fiametta won't suddenly quit, I'll go along with you.:laugh2:

I remember those Leon! Yeah, they were a hunk.

Tell ya what, split the difference with ya and we can say that Fiametta is not a Spider but instead, we can say that he is this model of Fiat.
