Hollywood Is Out of Ideas For TV Shows and Movies; Submit Your Ideas Here

I have liked History channels shows on D.B. Cooper the Anglin Brothers Escape from Alcatraz and The Zodiac. I hope they do JFK's assassination.

Not really an original idea but how about this? Movies like Independence Day and War of the Worlds are based on the re-used extraterrestrial aliens wanting to displace the entire human species. Been there. Done that. How about a reversal? Sure, Avatar had humans killing indigenous super tall blue (and nearly nude) people but they would have left the native population alone if their existence did not interfere with their mining operations (nothing spells lack of compassion like g-r-e-e-d).

How about a movie where humans are carrying out planet-wide genocide, and winning without any real opposition from the native alien population, for the simple reason of taking sole possession of their world? There was a good but simple animated movie called Battle For Terra where humans left a dying Earth for a new world. Humans, making the voyage in slowly malfunctioning spaceships, found the world inhabited and the military decided it was an Us or Them scenario.

The natives lived in an atmosphere almost devoid of oxygen. Humans had technology that could produce oxygen on a global scale. The military attempted to use the technology and would have wiped out everybody on the planet if not for the combined efforts of an empathic male human and a curious female native teaming up (this was a PG movie for anyone getting the wrong idea :p). Let the proposed movie be devoid of any empathic humans and let the worldwide survival of the fittest ensue! ~insert loud diabolical laughter here~

John Goodman as Weinstein. *drops mic*
For some reason I've had Garlin in my head since this stuff started unfolding.

Would love to see a reboot of Oliver Twist where he becomes politically radicalized as an orphan and conspires to overthrow the capitalist order symbolized by his maternal grandfather who tries to "save" him and turn him into a proper bourgeois gent. Dickens meets Engels, Marx, Lenin. Add some Urukai as the monstrous henchman of capital who must be dispatched by the droves before finally confronting the alien, known only as "the invisible hand, " who is the one actually responsible for the secret enslavement of humanity. Hollywood action and music served with a social conscience.

Movies I would try

The Six Billion Dollar Man.
Yes do it serious and not some insult campy comedy that Hollywood have done in the past to everyones favorite TV shows and ruined the love of the fans of these shows mocking us.

The Six Billion Dollar Man
2017 ‧ Science fiction film

Initial release: December 22, 2017

I'd like to see a remake of The Outsiders. It was a great book and a cheesy movie but had a cool story line. Obviously it wouldn't be the Greasers vs. Socs anymore, but I could see the story fitting with several different social classes. There still has to be a Ponyboy and Sodapop Curtis though just because they're fun to say.

I'm thinking something that includes either a) a hospital or b) a fire department...maybe even c) a courtroom. What would be even better is to include all three in one city! Then you can have them all intertwine!

DO starship troopers as the novel actually was.

Actually just about any great novel as it actually was intended. So very few ever come close to not only the quality but the intent of the book.

In all seriousness, I think there needs to be more Sci-Fi. I thought Passengers would be a great Sci-Fi revival but it was fraudulent in that its plot was nothing like how it was portrayed in the trailers and marketing.

How about a live version The Jetsons movie?

Steve Carell as George Jetson
Julia Roberts-Jane Jetson
Danny DeVito as Spacely
Myley Cyrus as Judy Jetson
John Goodman as Coswell Cog
Some kid actor as Elroy Jetson
