I'll bet if he got a buzz cut, it would shave another tenth of a second off his 40, and add another inch to his vertical jump...

And sometimes players who play multiple positions have college coaches who can't figure out where they should be playing... I mean, Kent State had Joshua Cribbs and Julian Edelman playing quarterback for them, the NFL turned them both into WRs... now they have a third NFL prospect that the league thinks will be better off at another position...

To me, that suggests that Kent State coaches aren't real good at putting players at their best position...

And permit me to note that the Cowboys had a fair amount of success with another player who had to move to another position in the pros... I refer to Patrick Crayton, who was a quarterback in college...

Cribbs was a great college QB. It would have been dumb for the coaching staff to play him anywhere else. Kent State coaches only need to worry about putting players where they help Kent State the most. There's a lot of guys that a position change is obvious when projecting them to the NFL, that doesn't mean that they should switch the guy at the college level.

I haven't heard much about this guy, but with those measurables he's interesting. However, I do question why a guy who's that good of an athlete never really showed up on the field. I'd be okay with investing a 7th rounder on the guy to get a close look at what he can do.

thats the part im skeptical about too, why havent they produced on the field, if they have those kind of stats, but silverbear made a good point about kent coaches,
