Drew Pearson is pretty annoying these days.

I've always found him kind of annoying. No wonder he doesn't get along with Jerry and took forever to get in the ROH. (Not saying he doesn't deserve it, because he definitely does.)

Yeah, I'd be fine if I never had to read another quote from him. Just seems overly critical and bitter all the time. He has an arrogance that has gotten beyond old. Take your Ring of Honor spot and just shut up Drew.

The bottom line is and for whatever reason, everyone cares and wants to know what's going on with the Cowboys, good or bad.

I've never seen anything like this in sports. I thought the Yankees were important, but geesh. For goodness sake, we're not even a top-tier team, and everything we do has to be dissected.

There’s nothing like a little father-and-son time sitting around a warm, toasty Romo jersey, and then afterward, a nice game of catch (see below). Yep, I think there’s one quote that can pretty much sum up the dad, the son and Romo himself: “That boy ain’t right.”

Maybe the article's author, Rick Chandler, is a King Of The Hill fan. Or perhaps...

That's the worst impression of Hank and Bobby Hill that I've ever seen or heard before. They couldn't even get the propane and propane accessories bit correct.

I hate to say this, but every Cowboys fan isn't going to talk positively when things aren't going good. Aikman isn't going to kiss our butts on national TV, Deion isn't going to praise us when we're not doing good, other players of other teams are going to talk trash about us, other fans and some of our own fans will burn jerseys, and all types of other things, get used to. Welcome to being associated with the Dallas Cowboys. We either get used to it, or be miserable.

On NBC Sports on their football page, these are the titles of the top articles on their site.

Off the Bench: Pearson rips Dirk for supporting Romo

Off the Bench: Dad, son burn Romo jersey (video)

PFT: Commanders TE wants to fight Romo in UFC

PFT: Deion doubts Romo can win a Super Bowl

PFT: Felix Jones forgot what down it was

At least Felix got some "love" at the end. Too bad the moron Dad got some coverage though.
I'm surprised this article isn't up there as well.
jerry complains about playcalling

Oh thanks for edifying me  . Are you serious with this post? Aikman says some positive and some negative, as do some others like Moose. Pearson is almost always negative and bitter-sounding. We're all certainly used to the media being Cowboys-obsessed and mostly negative. Obviously. My comment was about not liking Pearson's almost weekly negative comments about the Cowboys. We get it Drew, you're angry about waiting for the ROH and not being in the HOF. You're not liking these Cowboys too much. Perhaps he feels as though if he keeps making statements about the current Cowboys, and their lack of success, it will remind others of all the greatness that he achieved with the Cowboys. Who knows? All I know is I'd be happy seeing fewer "Drew Pearson Says..." articles.

NFL Network stories last night...

Cowboys collapse
Can the cowboys make the playoffs? (Answer was no obviously)
Eagles collapse
Round table talking about Romo (Dukes makes fun of Romo by simulating that he is choking. Deion rips Romo, etc.)

90% of NFL network news is the Cowboys and the Dream Team. We can thank Philly for sharing some of this madness!

<snip>Gee, you think Garrett received a call to the principal's office?<snip>

<snip>For now, all is calm in Jerry World. Romo should consider himself fortunate that Deion Sanders doesn't own the Cowboys.<snip>

The article could have been written without that nonsense. Is Dan Hanzus even a journalist? It's difficult to discern real writers from hacks nowadays.

it is beyond funny
when things are going good, and these "legends" are praising the cowboys, all is good and they are "legends" and a "part of our history" but if the team is performing poorly and these same legends criticize the cowboys or point out area of improvement, homers unite and thse same "legends" are suddenly "haters" and "should just keep quiet"

here is a thought, maybe they know more about football than some of the homer fans

Drew...uhh...man I don't know what to think. I'm a big fan of Drew and all he did for the Cowboys, as I know all Cowboys fans are, and sometimes he says things and I just say give him a pass cause he earned it by being great.

Then there are just times, and it's probably just me getting tired of seeing it from former Cowboys, where I really wish he'd just let it go.

I don't know. I'm becoming indifferent more and more to people and their opinions on Tony Romo. It's pretty clear that there are two camps on Romo and they're pretty firmly entrenched either way.

America's Team.....

Embrace the Hate....

The Mediots want to cause a stir about the Cowboys.......it sells......TMZ sports
