Home Field Advantage...Atlanta's HC and his war against the sun *Merge*

Jeff Fisher: This calls for a meeting of the Competition Committee!

I hope they realize how pathetic it sounds to complain about the sun being in your eyes.

still seems like a messed up thing for the cowboys to do. to have the coach ask before hand about it and promise a curtain and then not to do it.
We don't know whether or not the Cowboys promised anything to Atlanta's coach. There was mention of closing the curtain maybe, but I'm glad they didn't.

I would think it would have been us that had the disadvantage on this because our receivers were looking back into the sunlight to catch passes. Why the hell are the Falcons complaining?

37-21 = 58 pts scored.

All but 7 pts was scored in the direction going into that bright sun. If the sun was such an issue, why did both teams combine for 51 pts heading in that direction?

:laugh2:...well when you put it that way

Stop Atlanta, just stop.

You are embarrassing yourself using the "sun was in my eyes" excuse. I guess Atlanta cant play outside their dome unless it is a night game.

:lmao2:

Dallas had the same issue in the 4th...and I would say it was even worse then, since the sun had gone down further into the eyes of Romo.

Another thing, this is nothing like what the Giants and Jets do at home.....when they open up the tunnel when opponents kick FGs to make the wind swirl....and then close the tunnel when the NY kickers kick.

I wear my sunglasses at night.............

Between the videoboard and the window, I'm thinking we should just blow the thing up and start over from scratch.

NEVER, and I mean NEVER dog the stadium or attack it in any way. Fisher and the Titans haven't won a game since the aerial attack on the video board.

Now Smith *****es about the sun in his eyes. Be careful what you ask for. The curse of Jerry is upon the Titans...and now the Falcons may lose the rest of their games this year.

I would love to see that! Cry baby birds!!!

Yeah I can see it now tomorrow on Monday Night countdown. Meshawn, Eyebrows(Carter), Walrus(Chris Berman) and Purple lips(Tom Jackson) will be breaking down the sunlight issue and why Atlanta's offense couldn't do anything with it and not giving the Cowboys any credit.

Also they'll mention how the Falcons punter was hitting the Sun in pregame warmups...

Speaking of the curtain, why does it take a long time to lower it? It's made of fabric, so it can't weigh much.

its the ton of bricks or ton of feather argument. Yes its fabric but considering how thick it would be I would say a curtain that size would way close to a ton.

At least their dog didn't eat their playbook. That would've sucked for them.

I loved the way the Falcons were *****ing about the sunlight. The Cowboys had the option of closing a curtain, but chose not to. The sun didn't seem to bother our offense when we were heading in tha direction. I say, leave the curtain open. Let the opponents ***** and moan.

By the way the home crowd was really loud whenever Atlanta's offense had a 3rd down. They're learning.

That's a good thing. Glad to hear it.
