Teams that rely on the run are highly volatile and likely to be upset often. Which is why I like that we try to run the ball but we definitely shouldn't be a team that plays like it's 1995.

They have a tough stretch of games later in the year.
@Colts
Packers
Titans
@Giants
Bears (
then @ Cowboys

The Eagles schedule alone will make it hard to catch them. They could easily be 10-0 before they play Green Bay. And Green Bay and Tennessee are both very beatable this year, so maybe even 12-0 before they play in NY.

8 Sun, Oct 30 vsPittsburgh
9 Thu, Nov 3 at Houston
10 Mon, Nov 14 vsWashington
11 Sun, Nov 20 at Indy
12 Sun, Nov 27 vsGreen Bay
13 Sun, Dec 4 vsTennessee
14 Sun, Dec 11 at Giants
15 Sun, Dec 18 at Bears
16 Sat, Dec 24 at Dallas
17 Sun, Jan 1 vsNew Orleans
18 Sun, Jan 8 vsGiants

Both conferences are about equal in my opinion. The NFC isn't trash just because two prolific QBs (Brady and Rodgers) are struggling. I would give a slight edge to the NFC as of today in regards to the strongest conference.

But, it is obvious that both NFC and AFC east divisions are the best in football right now, hands down.

I would give anything to see a Bills vs. Cowboys SB for a multitude of reasons. A fan can dream, no?

I agree 100% let's see how this fake hype #1 in green accuracy is once his team has to throw from behind...luckily they been ahead in all their games

Living is S Jersey I TiVo all the Eagles games and they were soooooo close to being down 21-0 to the Jags but they did come back that game being down 14-0.

Home field is big for Philly. Their obnoxious fans are on a different level. I'll try to find the video of Phillies fans erupting during game 4 and the baseball announcer saying, "I've never heard anything like this in a baseball game" and you could hear practically the entire stadium (during the Phillies playoffs" chanting E.A.G.L.E.S EAGLES.
We all hate them especially when Irvin got hurt and they cheered but they come loud during the playoffs. Thats why we are gonna go on a 14 play drive to start the game and shut them up in the playoffs!

This sickens me....is Philly really going to get Home Field throughout by default??? The NFC this year is trash....they may be the NFC's Fake ID, just like the Titans were last year in the AFC. Don't get me started on NY, who the league protected today....such crookedness!!!
Eagles are beating the teams that they're supposed to beat and that included us too. They're well coached on both sides of the ball and if they don't have a rash of injuries they could go all the way. I know Cowboy fans don't want to hear this, but it's the truth! Getting Prescot back isn't going to fix the one issue that has haunted this team for years and that's Prescot inabilities to show up in meaningful games. Go back and look at the record, there aren't a lot of Cowboy victories against DECENT TEAMS IN THE LEAGUE.

Yes they should get the #1 seed easily. The schedule favored them this season. Even with the shared opponents, they get Minnesota, GB, Tennessee at home while we have to go there. Their toughest remaining road game is at Indianapolis, which is really nothing
They beat the Chiefs this year, so that game is no gimme.

The Eagles aren’t even going to win the NFC East let alone get home field advantage. Relax.

By default? If they wind up going 12-5 but get hfa because everyone else sucks that’s ‘by default’…They are going to get HFA because they probably will have the best record of any NFC team in years…

The Diggs non interception and when Sam body slammed that guy.
I never saw the ball hit the ground. It did move a bit after his forearms hit the ground but there was nothing there to overturn the call. I think Williams did not get a penalty there because he did not land on him in a duplex type move-he just threw him.

The rules expert said the Williams call was an obvious mistake by the refs so I'll take his word for it. The Diggs non call was obvious I thought and the announcers were stunned as well, but to each his own.

That's hard to see as of now because they have a nice team on both sides of the ball and such an easy schedule.
They have studs at every offensive position coupled with the best OLine in football. They are gonna be tough to beat... but not impossible

The announcers were stunned but never showed a replay where the ball hit the ground. Williams did not body slam the player-there is a difference there and I don’t see a specific rule in the rule book-maybe I missed it. Most of the time we see that called is like a belly to belly duplex-this was not that and I think that’s why it was not called
