Wrong. Atlanta, Detriot, AND Washington only have four losses so they could win out and and jump us if we lose out. Tampa can also jump us if we lose out and they win out because H2H. Seattle can also still lose two games and jump us if we lose out.

He didn't have us losing out in that scenario. He had us winning.

For the fastest way of locking up the division and home field advantage,
we would need the following to happen this sunday:

Saints over the Lions
Chiefs over the Falcons
Panthers over the Seahawks
Steelers over the Giants

Then if we beat the Giants next Sunday night

We would have home field advantage at the end of next Sunday Night

True but then I don't think Panthers are going to beat many teams right now and are looking like a group who has packed it in for the season. I would like to see the seahawks lose but don't think that will happen. The other game Saints/Lions toss up. The other 2 games I agree.

It just means in the last three games we either have to win one or they have to lose one. Pretty simple no?

Kind of amazing that we could miss the playoffs at 11-5.

it is impossible as some of the teams play each other so they both cannot win. Washington and NY Giants play each other so both cannot win out.

Any fear that we will lose four in a row and the others around us winning out to jump us is ridiculous

Two wins or a win and a loss by the Seahawks ensures we are ahead of them. A loss by the Giants to the Steelers and a win by us against the Giants means homefield. Basically, two wins and we have home field.

We all need to be rooting like crazy for the Steelers this Sunday...............if they beat the Giants, then all we need is two wins to clinch HFA and it doesn't matter what anybody else does.

Even if the Giants beat the Steelers, we still are looking good for HFA. Seattle is sitting at 3 losses and a tie, so if we finish 13-3 there is no way for them to pass us. The Giants have 3 losses, so just one single loss over their last five games will give them 4 losses and they cannot pass us.

Bottom line is 2 wins coupled with a single Giant loss over their last 5 games gives us HFA, even if we lose to the Giants next Sunday.
