If we practice at the Frisco Super Practice Facility during the week, but play at ATT stadium how is this truly a home field advantage. Do we spend any time during the week at the stadium?

Actually no. Remember the advantage our qb had knowing the slope of Texas Stadium? and Philly had an advantage playing at their old stadium because the home team knew where the holes were in the astro turf.

I believe on the field AT&T is generic as they come. It doesn’t have the extreme crown that Texas Stadium did, and it’s weather controlled. Maybe you could argue the sun glare problem is unique, but I don’t see how you can practice for that. And I suppose one might argue that a punter could gain something by being used to the scoreboard, thought I imagine a few kicks in warmups takes care of that.
In short, there is no special advantage gained by being familiar with it.

Back in 1968, the players played on the same field that they practiced on. Millennials and wanna be Millenials might not know this.

I don’t think any advantage big comes from
The physical field itself.

AT&T sucks for crowd noise. But the homefield advantage comes not having to fly in a plane for multiple hours the day before. Sleeping in your own home and bed the night before. And for some teams, the crowd noise is the biggest piece.

And mind you, even if the cowboys don’t practice on the AT&T field but play on it at least 10 times per season (including pre-season). They are more familiar with the field and what cleats to wear, etc. than a team that plays there once every 4 years or with players who have never been there.

What??

As long as we have Garrett we have home field advantage regardless of where we play the game............kind of like Linus having his blanket.

If that bothers you then it must really drive you crazy that the team that practices in Frisco and plays it's home games in Arlington is called the Dallas Cowboys.

I think we have better HFA at many of our away games. Still will not forget when I was at the very first game in Arlington vs the Giants and people behind me yelled “down in front”... And no, they weren’t Giants fans.

OP defiantly yells at the neighborhood kids to get off his lawn

Good lord, it's big boy football.

Win or shut up.
