My issue now is where does Leonard fit? He had struggles in pass coverage this year in Indy.

Right now our two starting LB's are Damone Clark and Markquese Bell. Clark is good against the run, but like Leonard gets lost in coverage. Bell is excellent in coverage since he's a safety by trade, but at 218 pounds soaking wet and with weights in his pockets he gets buried when teams run right at him.

So who would Leonard replace in the lineup? At this point he's Clark with better pedigree.

Is this dude making a decision and announcement tonight or Monday?

Hope he doesn't drag this out, but his decision should be clear by now.

One wonders how much drama is playing out over cell phones right now... and if we'll be given any insight to it all later on.

Optimistically assuming that DAL signs Leonard, what would be a reasonable timeline to meaningfully integrate him into the defense? A couple of weeks?

Also, how do you think DQ might use him?

Colts DC (Gus Bradley) is from Dan Qinns same coaching tree, so the Defenses could have similar concepts and terminology shortening the assimilation process...I'd guess 3 games max.

Leonard may be used more on early downs with Clark, and allow Bell to be more of a nickel/dime-Backer for better coverage.
