Hopelessly conflicted about the 2021 draft

Eagles are going to take the best offensive play maker on their board if it's one of the receivers or Pitts.

I think they should take the best offensive linemen. I don’t see the quarterback being there. Wide receivers for the most part are the product of the quarterback. I was listening to the Ravens secondary after the Cowboys game. They loved our receivers. They did not think much of Dalton. My point is Hurts is a good backup but I would not trust him for 16 games. As much crap that Mike Nolan gets he adjusted and shut down the Eagles offense.

I would take Pitts over the #1 CB in this draft.

I have a feeling that the top corners in this draft class would normally be bottom of the first round guys.

Many are going to diss this post but it needs to be discussed.
Are you guys really confident we are going to nail this draft and get back to playoff contention?

I have my doubts. Last year we netted one primo players at WR which was not a position of need. Now this year we have about 5 positions of need and this scouting staff and FO really coughed a hairball in the draft and FA and our team had zero chance as we saw with all the injuries and sloppy coaching..

So I am skeptical this team is robust enough to over come that in 2021. Just my basic feeling.

Other thoughts are welcome as we all wait for the cows to come home.

They could go in any direction. It shocks me that their HC was fired, but GM still there. Don't think they are in a total rebuild or they would be dealing some of their veterans away.

Well they might be able to stay at 12 and draft Parsons, Smith, Horne or a lineman. They are actually picking in a good spot. If we were not desperate for a corner, I would love those choices.

I'm hoping Surtain goes ahead of us and the team doesn't reach for Horn. It would allow us to go best player available instead of reaching to fill a need. A good corner will be there at 44.

You make a great argument but the Cowboys are so transparent. Everyone knows the Cowboys are going to Draft Surtain or Horne. Did they even send anyone to see Slater on his pro day or Parsons for that matter. One day the way they do things will backfire and don’t be surprised if Surtain is drafted before us.
