Horn vs. Devonta Smith

I think the Cowboys love one corner, but not both. Heard Pauline say a few weeks ago, they would only consider Sewell if their top corner is gone. Probably is Surtain.

and Horn still made a play in that video.

Also, Maybe you guys hadn't heard yet but that DeVonta Smith kid is pretty good.

Horn is an extremely competitive Corner. He's also a little handsy.

that may be but Smith is the third best WR abd the 4th best receiving option just in this draft. Where does that out him among NFL WRs?

if you’re taking a CB top 10 it needs to be someone who will be great not average

I’m not buying Horn at 10 at all

Smith was Bama's best WR the year by a large amount

you can teach handsy you can not extremely competitive. I like Horn

Okay, but Horn is going to be facing much better WR in the NFL on a consistent basis than Smith. I don't dislike Horn, but he's way too handsy.

By a large amount?

Jaylen Waddle would like a word.

What exactly does Waddle want to talk about?

Wow that Horn tape looks rough! 2nd-3rd round grade rough!
However, as I've mentioned a multitude of times.... Smith is unguardable!
If Smith drops, just draft him, let the critics cry a storm, make fun of the D,
then watch Lamb + Smith for the next decade! lol

Horn is 6’1, 33” arms, runs in the 4.3’s. He was toasted by Devonte Smith but this is well documented as is his improvement since then.

Was he a teenager when that matchup happened? Don’t get me wrong, it’s notable but needs to be in context.

I think Horn is a very good press man corner that should be given props for following receivers. He’s less good in zone, can get beat on double moves, and lacks awareness in traffic. He can also look a bit stiff but it seems like it’s all teachable issues which have already come on in leaps and bounds.

I think it is very telling that you don’t here any whispers that the Cowboys want Surtain. You here Sewell, Collins, Williams and Pitts but nothing on Surtain. What it tells me the Cowboys have covered up their leaks and let Jerrah be the mouth piece for misinformation.

We usually know who they are taking by now, but this yr is extremely hard without private and 30 day visits. All we know is both McClay/Quinn were at their pro days. In my opinion, there is one top target, outside of Pitts and it's one of these 2 corners, would not surprise me if they liked Horn over Surtain, either.

That he only played 4 games and averaged 140 yards per game in them.

He'd also wanna talk about most likely being drafted ahead or darn close to where Smith gets drafted.

Definitely feels like " a large amount" of difference to me.
