Well Mr. Hostile, if you recall my original post that you TRIED to shoot down simply said a QB that turns the ball over less. Nothing more, nothing less.

Never mentioned production or TDs or yards or whatever else you want.

Wrong again!! You stats are wrong...at least according to NFL.com

http://www.nfl.com/teams/dallascowboys/profile?team=DAL

http://www.nfl.com/players/trentedwards/careerstats?id=EDW720778

Go look at the bottom for FUMBLES
Okay. It doesn't change the fact that Tony Romo is a far superior QB despite the dig about turnovers. I could back that up with plenty of other stats. I simply chose the easy one TDs because it is directly offset by INTs.

So simply put you are wrong, pretty much about everything. I hope you can admit & accept it. I know its tough for you.
Ah, but I'm not wrong because all I did was add in facts, and the fact is Tony Romo is more effective as a QB than Trent Edwards by a wide margin.

You are trying to bring in unmentioned things to shoot down my original statement which is 100% accurate. My claim is dead on, no matter if you like it or not.
Because I don't pigeonhole an opinion on football and try and custom fit one stat to make a point.

Damn me.

Either compare Edwards's stats per game to Romo's stats per game... or compare the Bills QB to the Cowboys (plural) QBs.
You can if you want to. I was responding to the notion that he is heading somewhere where the QB doesn't turn the ball over as much as ours.

Well, yeah they do. 33 turnovers to 30 for the 2 teams.

He's also heading somewhere where they score a whole lot less than we do. So the lame attempt to throw Tony Romo under the bus got the bullet it deserved.

TO should help Edwards. They have a very good RB, a rising QB, and two very good WRs. If they get their LOS st8 then they will be in the picture for a wild card. They likely will score less in that division but TO only has to pad his stats a little more each year. I'd give him two years. He really only needs one more to get way up there.

:lmao2: One that would have produced at TO's level? That's eternally debatable. Austin surely wasn't catching 10. Crayton? Hurd?
Tony may not have forced some balls his way that went for picks. We will see for sure this season.

One of the best steals in Free Agency.... I wish T.O. all the best and I personally would like to apologize T.O. for taking the fall for the Cowboys Organization.

Ok smarty pants...why not try & accurately present the case.

First off no one said anything about TDs.

INTS: Romo 14 Edwards 10

Fumbles Lost: Romo 7 Edwards 5

Totals Turnovers: Romo 21 Edwards 15

Almost 30% LESS TURNOVERS

Edwards additionally played an extra game.

**Those are accurate facts, not some skewed BS you are trying to post to make your case, but lumping in team fumbles/Losman's #'s etc.**

Sorry to burst your little bubble.

Passes attempted in 2008:

Romo 450 (13 games)
Edwards 374 (14 games)

Romo had more turnovers (and a higher t/o %), but since he threw far more times it would have been a surprise if he hadn't.

Just wanted to be the first to mention it.

Oh but the spin doctors have been at work ever since the announcement of the signing. 6.5 mil isn't too shabby for a WR that's no longer relevant.

Are you honestly going to attempt to spin this as some sort of vindication of Owens?

If there really were multiple teams interested, why would Rosenhaus have his client sign so quickly? After all, there's no hurry. Surely it would be better to spend some time playing the various teams Rosenhaus claimed were interested in hopes of getting a better deal?

Owens signed with the Bills because it was the only offer out there. Nothing else makes any sense.

I'd like to personally apologize to Jason Witten, one of the better physical and mental players this organization has ever had, for having to put up with Terrel Owens and having certain members of the team turned against him by an idiot.

I know as a fan I was initially on board with bringing TO on - yes perhaps foolishly - so maybe I had something to do with it. But if I had known it would become something where a bunch of guys in the locker would be turned on a guy like you, I never would have stood for it.

Sorry man, kick *** this year.

It is more than the roster bonus he was going to get. Igor got 8 million guaranteed for what, 3 years and Igor has plenty of stuff left in the tank. TO is getting 6.5 million for one year. He got 15 million guaranteed by the Cowboys for 3 years, which amounts to 5 million . The Bills paid him quite well...

For one year.

O-N-E.

I wonder why? After all, this is a HoFer we're talking about. Why wouldn't the Bills want to lock him up for multiple years?

Ah... I forgot... Terrell Owens was the source of all the Cowboys problems. I hope at the end of the 2009-2010 season, I can say that I was wrong and that getting rid of T.O. wasn't their worst offseason decision.
