A thread browsing tip and a confession:

TIP: Clicking on an image may increase its size if it is larger than it seems. The site's software reduces large images to fit with the message space to avoid warping its margins. Clicking an enlarged image will return it to its restricted size.

My confession is that I used all jpeg images for my graphic brackets. JPEG images do not retain their photo quality nearly as well as PNG images, especially if the originals are enlarged. PNG's are larger in data size but can be compressed.

I will remember to use PNG images next time.

Both Weaver and Hunt look a lot different from when they were young. So do I.

These contests are not necessarily about the here-and-now for all the contestants but about who they were in their prime (so to speak). Heck, I remember a certain scene near the end of the original Alien when Ripley stealthy got into a space suit to survive the vacuum of space. The alien was inside the cockpit with her and she needed to jettison it into space.

That was from 1979 or 1980. I will be honest and say Weaver, in that particular scene, back then, was enough for me to rewind a few times. But that is just me perhaps. Every one has an opinion after all.

Talking about Morena Baccarin always reminds me of her in Firefly when I first noticed her but @Big_D unknowingly got me thinking about her in the remake of the V series. As usual, Baccarin impressed in that too but I suddenly recalled Laura Vandervoort in that show also:
