Curiosity is making me type this reply. Clearly (for me), Fawcett, Welch and Berry would have advanced over anybody in my opinion but their opponents were all pitted against play-in seeds (e.g. the late nominated actresses).

Did you give any of the three play-in seeds any consideration? For instance, Mendoza was facing off against Lana Turner for the right to face off against Fawcett. In my book, Fawcett still crushes Turner but Turner is still a much more worthy opponent for Fawcett than Mendoza.

Just curious.

I just edited the typed brackets and seeding posts to reflect Jennifer Garner as a #32 play-in seed versus Lucy Liu in the West Region at #123. I am putting all late nominated actresses from the bottom seed upward that way.

It may be a little unfair (depending on whoever is the late suggestion) but it keeps the present seeding in order. Good news. A quality candidate like Garner has a good opportunity of knocking out a #32 seed. Bad news. The same candidate may not fare as well against the upper seeded opponent once they advance past the play-in round.

Please do not see me as evil if that is the case. It is why I prefer to do the seeding from the bottom up. Get all who I think are #32 seeds out of the way. Then all #31 seeds. And so on.

As a consequence, the numbering of the overall seeds never change. The brackets are already pre-numbered. So, each candidate is matched with a specific overall seed number when filling in the brackets after deciding all the seeding tiers first.

It is still 'luck of the draw' but the seeding is more 'equitably random' at the same time. Consider me the NCAA Tournament Selection Committee of CowboysZone Hottest Actresses Brackets!
