I find this to be so odd. Forget about the other players that also play and have been playing much longer. Now I know we use him probably where he shouldn't be. Also he's the kind of kid that's probably had several big injuries this year, but is keeping it quiet because he wants to play every game!!

I'm just confused, I hope we have a better game plan going forward, please give your thoughts
I got laughed @ when I said he needed to hit the weight room....he's just getting by on natural talent.

Look who's laughing now?

You don't know why he's tired at the end of the game? Maybe get off the couch and run around for bit! It's funny how you guys think this stuff is easy.

Ya'll would find fault in a Super Model if you were lucky enough to pull one.. The one on the left is slightly smaller than the one on the right.. She gotta go..

Sorry bro but you got it wrong here.. The Cowboys stayed with the 4-3 the first couple of years Parcells was here but switches to 3-4 by year three. They specifically drafted Ware to be a right outside linebacker. Go look it up.. He was listed as an outside linebacker every year in the league until 2012.. the Kiffen year.. When Parcells left they brought in Wade.. I think you know which defense Wade runs.. (Hint.. it aint a 4-3) ... When Wade got canned we cycled through Ryan and then Kiffen.. Ryan was a 3-4 guy.. Kiffen a 4-3 guy.. As such Ware only played 2 seasons as a 4-3 end.. His last year in Dallas and his first year in Denver under Jack Del Rio. Every other year he was a 3-4 OLB.

You are right about Ware. I am wrong here.

But my main point was that we never switched from 3-4 to 4-3 as you wrote. It was the other way around. But in your post i replied to you stated that.

Go one on one with a man significantly larger than yourself for three hours. You'll get worn out much faster than going up against someone your own size or smaller. It is just a matter of physics.

alot of athletes are built this way, or not built this way, depending on how you look at it.

Ja Morant in basketball is the same way.

it is what it is, both phenomenal, exciting players; but it does make you wonder how long their careers will be, being this way at such a young age.

He gives it 110% every snap. He has been pushing around 300lb guys and basically is in a car wreck half the plays. He needs pace himself better and the Cowboys need to play him more at LB early in games. Let him be the closer at DE in the 4th quarter.

Actually we did both.. we stayed with the 4-3 Parcells' first two seasons then switched in 2005 to 3-4 and stayed with it (with Wade and then Ryan) until we hired Kiffen who then switched us back to 4-3.. and handed off to Rod who kept it that way until Nolan tried to switch again.. which as we know turned out to be a disaster. So basically the sequence was:

4-3 from Landry to 2005.
3-4 from 2005 to 2011.
4-3 from 2012 to 2020..
3-4 in 2020 with a smattering of 4-3 mixed in.
4-3 the last two seasons with a smattering of 3-4 mixed in.

I MIGHT be off on a year here or there... but I doubt it..

It’s actually pretty simple. He’s playing 80% of the snaps and going up against much larger players. Last year he played much more LB than this year. He’s also been sick
It’s really simple

Parsons plays a crazy amount of snaps for a pass rusher. That’s why.

Most defensive ends you want to play around 60-70% of the snaps.

Parsons is playing 90%
Actually 80% but that is high and he’s also smaller than most edge rushers

Well he does go harder than anyone else on the field .. and he has been fighting that flu that has been going around for a couple of weeks now.
I love Micah but I really don't buy that he's trying harder than everyone else.

Yes of course we switched back to the 4-3. I thought DWare was long gone to Denver because that was really late in his career here in DC. I wasnt aware that he played 2 more years under Kiffin.

I thought you were referring to the switch during the Parcells area.
