He's a 35 year old corner with LOTS of experience. He's played in the man-man scheme for years to boot.

Why not?

Boo. Can we get one big thread with all these lame CB suggestions? Honestly, is some guy off the street going to come in and shut half the field down? No. Good teams overcome injuries and have players step up.

Is this the same Fred Thomas from the Saints? That guy could be the WORST corner in the league !

Since we've had Aaron Glenn we've had one of the top #3 CBs in the league. Now he moves to #2 and you would think a nuclear bomb went off in Dallas. I vote to lock the Fan Zone until further notice.

No thanks. Another version of Elvis "toast" Patterson!!

Fred Thomas is my neighbor.

Oh sure. I've definitely heard of him.

(82 overall on madden...signed him to the ol' franchise league...my Bills team is terrible.)

Hey, we have to look at everything.......can he still play?

Bring him in.......hopfully, we only need him for 8 games.

Fred Thomas = worst than Aaron Glenn, NO thanks!:wink2:

He is a lot worse than Glenn.

The only reason he's still a starter there is that they made a bad decision to sign Jason David in free agency thinking he could play man coverage.

The panic is almost unbearable.

Better run a young guy out to get burned than an old guy. The young guy might learn something and improve.
