How about instead of penalty yardage if you commit two flags in a game you're ejected

But what if you have two offensive linemen false start in a game multiple times and get tossed? How would a team finish a game? How many Cowboys fans would like to see Tyron Smith get ejected for holding twice in the first half?

Forcing officials to call less penalties is a bad idea; because some players will see the advantage to intentionally knock somebody out of a game, etc..

This just isn't feasible on so many levels.
I built on the idea already. Procedure fouls don't count. 3 in action fouls

I want to eject players if they commit two block in the back penalties on kickoffs and punt returns.

Just can't fathom why this penalty is so widely committed. It's just stupid and one of the most costly.

Speeds the game up. Limits flags. Increases big plays for both sides of the ball. I haven't thought this through don't get sassy build on my idea.

USA!
How about we plant snipers in the stands to shoot the player after two penalties. umm. allow greyhounds to be running backs and/or cornerbacks. hmmm... make the football field out of a giant treadmill that changes speeds and direction randomly. uhhh... use ostrich eggs instead of footballs.

Nope, I got nothin. I tried to build on this but couldn't do so without an inordinate amount of sass. This is obviously a horrible idea. There is no reason that ejecting players would correlate to fewer flags, which makes the idea fail six words into it. We' d end up watching games with TE's playing on the OL and Offensive sets with not enough players to field a proper formation.

Kudos for the sheer ridiculousness of it though. If serious, it would reflect on the OPs comprehension and reasoning skills, and I'd be concerned that he may have suffered a stroke just before posting. but I'm confident that it's silliness was for the good cause of introducing a diversion during this stressful week.

*tips hat.

We'll be looking at 84 to 77 games because everyone will play timidly not looking to get ejected. game day rosters will need to be increased to like 65 a game. People already complain about the talent level being watered down, but this will take things to another level.

Hmm what about missing the rest of the series if you commit a foul?

It's just such a helpless feeling, you have one job and if you whiff you're chasing the guy the entire way down the field.
