The sack streak is still going strong! Can you imagine what the defense would be like without this guy?

I wish everyone worked as hard on D as Mr. Ware. They never even sub the guy and his motor is ALWAYS running! Roy Williams for D. Ware during draft day, are they joking the Lions!

D Ware is one of our best players of course Witten is the best player on our team.

On pace for 16 meaningless sacks! How about one on third and 8 when the game is on the line????

I'm not sure I've ever heard of a meaningless sack before. Perhaps you could enlighten me.

??? Wasn't the game on the line yesterday in the 4th quarter and the Bengals had the ball?

At the end of the game when the game is already in hand. How about a few when we really need it??? It's not just Ware....where has Ellis and Spencer been????

Uhhh NO.....we were up by 9 with 1:40 to play, and they had no timeouts.

I agree... I'd like to see the stats of when Ware has gotten his sacks...

BTW, Spencer hasn't been playing much, because of his knee and they gotta appease the ego of Greg Ellis, who has been non-existent...

The game on the line, no. The game in question, yes.. at least for me. I no where near count that as a meaningless sack. Up by 30 and the team having to pass every single down with 8 minutes left; sure, I would count those as meaningless.

Ask and you shall receive...

CLE: 4th quarter, 11:10 remaining, 3rd-and-11, Dallas up 28-10
PHI: 4th quarter, 1:23 remaining, 3rd-and-13, Dallas up 41-37
GB: 4th quarter, 0:36 remaining, 2nd-and-10, Dallas up 27-16
WAS: 1st quarter, 3:35 remaining, 3rd-and-7, scoreless
CIN: 4th quarter, 1:44 remaining, 2nd-and-10, Dallas up 31-22

So, two out of his five sacks (PHI and WAS) have been pretty significant, while the other three were pretty well garbage time sacks. OF course, for there to be garbage time sacks, there has to be garbage time, and Ware was a pretty big part of the reason that the D dominated both CLE and GB, in particular.

D Ware is a bum who should get Sacks when we say he should get sacks.

Never mind that he is also covering passes, stopping runners, getting double teamed, putting pressure on QBs, causing teams to spend time in the film room and in practice just preparing for ware or getting stops behind the line of scrimmage. Because dog gone it he does not get the sacks when we want them.

Good stats....

But Garbage time sacks helps his cause, but he hasn't 'dominated' anyone.

Quick, who's the all-time meaningful sacks leader?

Ware hasn't looked as quick to me this year.
Hope that changes.
I still love him - but his pressures are probably down.
Anyone have that stat?
