How about the play by Kosier...

Good thing for Romo Kosier recovered that. I wonder what would be going through his mind if Detroit had simply fallen on it.

That's what every coach teaches their players, just fall on the fumble in that situation. Just like they teach to go for the deflection and not the INT on fourth down. Too bad Lenin(or whoever) didn't pay too much attention.

we got lucky the guy kicked it...pretty crazy...i think the pats and us are on a collision course...both of us have gotten lucky the past two weeks...if the lions fall on that ball the game is over!

A positive thread about Kosier. What is the world coming to?

BTW nice job Kyle on that fumble recovery. :D

romo fumbled it, went towards paris lenin who kinda "fumbled" it towards kosier who pounced on it like a duck on a june bug.

We now have Wade Phillips screen name!

the miss by hansen and kyle kosier recovering that fumble were the two biggest plays in the whole ball of wax.

I was not able to watch it, but can someone describe the play in detail?
Romo stepped up in the pocket, the defender swipes his arm, Romo fumbles the ball forward, a defender falls on it, but it squirts out and Kosier runs up and falls on it.

thanks, someone told me he tried to lateral the ball forward to the back.

Now we can all forgive and forget Kosiers Holding call on the 4th and 1 in the Pats game......:)

It certainly saved the game for us. I said it a couple times in the game thread that this game just reminded me of the Pats/Ravens game. We kept getting the breaks much like the Pats did on Monday night. The pass Brady threw that was batted and should have been intercepted, well that was our fumble play that Kosier recovered.

we also got the refs calling plays for us like he pats too

Forget him.

Thank the wannabe-hero who tried to scoop and score for the Lions defense.
