Everyone else is sitting around 4-4 just like us. Philly doesnt have an easy schedule.

My god we win next week and suddenly we are awesome again.

Relax. We went into a place that we got killed at last year and played a terrible game and should have won it at the end.

Too many mistakes.

I bet we win the next 3 in a row.

It seems impossible. But I really think dallas will do it.
They are not the team we saw today but they never would have fought back through all the turmoil that they went through in this game.

If they come back refocused next week they can win. And go on to win some more.

We are not out of it,,troublem is we can never get anything going--win 1 lose 1,,,,IF we could win out, we would be 12-4 and sitting pretty.

We just ain't good enough to win more than 5 of them IMO> 9-7 wil not cut it.

well first off...1-3 in the division doesn't help

Pretty hard to be optimistic right now when we just lost to a horrible Commanders team missing their best Receiver.

thanks for bringing some sanity to the board

i'm officially a non-believer.
I'll be happy when we beat Arizona.
We'll lose a closer than expected game to Indy, people will get excited again.
And we'll lay an egg after that.
Its just the trend we've always followed with BP. It ain't gonna change.

i believe. we just need to patch up a few things on defense. our offense is playing real well and moving the ball efficiently.

completly agree, and even if we make the playoffs it will be 1 and done. And we will have a new coach next year

We aren't out of it, but we need to win some back to back to back to get in. Hell the Commanders were 5=6 last year and they got in, so we aren't out of it.

The recent World Series was won by a team that finished two games over .500, last years Superbowl was won by a wildcard that won all three playoff games ON THE ROAD.

When we first put Romo in I thought we were done, but the way he's played I think we have a chance. And once we're in who knows....

At Arizona...we should win....but they have a bye.
Indy....they'll tear us a new one....if Thrash/Lloyd can beat us, then imagine Wayne/Harrison.
Tampa Bay....we'll win
at New York...they whipped us at home
New Orleans....well, we can beat them, but they're going to be tough
at Atlanta....right now, they're looking too good for us.
Philly...a game we should win
Detroit...a game we should win

That comes out to 9-7...and this was a devestating loss. 9-7 won't get us to the playoffs. We have to be crushed emotionally.

This was a game that we SHOULD HAVE won....You can't give away games and expect to make the playoffs.

We are not a playoff team because we can;t win when we are supposed to. IS that the third time this year we have lost games we should have won? 9-7 is about what we are. Until we get a coaching staff that is not afraid to bring in some discipline, we will always be a 9-7 team.

The problem with this forum is that fans just can't take one game at a time.

We were sitting here talking about the season ending after the Giants debacle.

Then we were talking about how the Cowboys could be 6-3 by the time they play Indy.

Now we're back to being an 8-8 team.

I can't get caught up in projections. That was good before and at the beginning of the season, but now I just try to take it one game at a time.

Chicago loss. Atlanta loss. St. Louis loss. Philly has the same record as the Cowboys.

There's still a lot of football left in the season. I'm not celebrating a playoff spot, and neither am I conceding one.

When you consider that they will be 5-5 at best in 2 weeks and the fact that I cant remember the last time they won 3 games in a row you have to figure this team will be lucky to finish 9-7.

I'm not happy just making the "playoffs". If this team doesn't have the ability to get to the NFC Championship game then it might as well be a rebuilding year.

And it is turning out to be a rebuilding year.

Yeah, I'm not giving up on them, I won't if we lose the rest of the games. I'm just saying I don't have that feeling that we can make the playoffs.

Given the inconsistency of this team I dont think you can look at any of these games and say Dallas should win that game. They are capable of losing everyone of those games.

Your right but we still have games to play against Philly and the Giants, so still control our own destiny.
