Next weeks game against the Eagles is HUGE. We win in Philly and we give the Eagles their 5th loss through 8 weeks of the season. They won't recover from it IMO. By the way, I loved Garrett's play calling today. I call him out when I don't like what I see, so I give him credit for a very good job.

well if we could have ran the ball against the lions like we did today we would have won that game in blowout too.

A win next week puts the Eagles in a real bad spot and gives us the drivers seat for the division title.

Lions D >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Rams D.

4-3 and 3-4 is probably the biggest difference of one win earlier in the season, reason being that 3-4 you HAVE to win 2 games in a row, at 4-3 you have a little bit of breathing room still.

The New York Football Giants would like a word with you.

Yea exactly what I was thinking. The G Men are flying under the radar. It may very well come down to the last game on Jan 1st in NY.

A loss and the eagles are right back in it.

Andy Reid has NEVER lost coming off a bye, so thats a scary stat. But all streaks must come to an end sooner or later, and i c that streak ending sunday night.

Its going to be tough, and i think the defense has to play a great game for us to win. As long as we stop the big play, and don't allow vick to scramble a lot on us, we should take care of business.

But its almost guaranteed to come right down to the wire.

This team plays a lot better in night games vs. day games, especially on the road.

Like the Jets earlier this year...... j/k.

They did play great in that game though until the wheels fell off in the end. It was remarkable they were able to dominate the Jets as injured as our team was though.

But like you said, we play better in night games.

Its almost like we are more focused and prepared for those games. We don't come out and commit costly penalties like usual. And the offense is usually in sync throughout the game, which is not always the case.

Their schedule from here on out would like to have a word with you.

I thought we ran way to much. Murray is unproven and we were very close to bad things happening letting him run so much.

The iggles game is huge.

If we lose it will be 2 more weeks before we get a chance to be above 500.

If we're a playoff team we need to get to 4-3 and stay away from 4 losses for as long as possible.

Next week is very big, not just to get above .500, or to bury the Eagles, but it's a golden opportunity to keep pace with the Giants. They play the Dolphins next week, but after that? @ NE, @ SF, vs. PHI, @ NO, @ GB, and they play us (twice), the skins and the jets to close out. We just got to take care of business and this division is ours

If we run for 150 and Romo has no picks next week we win the game.

We can't count on that type of running performance next week. We need the offense to come out clicking on all cylinders. Miles Austin, are you listening? That means no momentum killing drops.

I'm not convinced it was bad to run him so much. I think the Rams were daring us to run and we did.

It also seemed like the passing offense was a bit out of rhythm today for whatever reason. Dez had two drops, Robinson had a drop and Murray had a drop. Witten wasn't a very big factor and neither was Miles - I'm not sure if Miles got his bell run on that head shot early in the game but he usually does more in most games. We almost hit him on a stop and go but the throw was a step too far.

This game for the Eagles will be a big test for us. They really torched our defense last year in the game Vick played so it will be interesting to see what we do this year to defense Vick, McCoy, Maclin and DJax. I'm sure Ryan has been thinking about his one for awhile. It could be a real signature game for his HC aspirations.

The Eagles also had a history of playing us tough defensively but that was back in the Jimmy Johnson days. If we can run effectively against them, I think we can do a number against them offensively as they don't have the pass rushers that they used to have anymore. Cole is good but then the rest of them are only so-so.

This week vs the Rams doesn't mean anything. We beat a team we were supposed to beat.

But next week is literally a must win game.

We lose, and we have the exact same record as Philly, only Philly would be 2-1 in the division, while we would be 1-1.

No talk about Philly being out of it either. The season is still young.
