The HOF is a popularity contest. The media either loves you, hates you or undervalues a players worth to the franchise.

I know you guys dont want to read/hear this but Art Monk and Dave Butz not being in the HOF is as shameful to the game as Rayfield Wright and Bob Hayes being excluded.

Its BS.

I'm not so sure about Art Monk. During the Skins heyday, I always found Gary Clark to be the more dangerous receiver.

butz was good but jacoby was better. he was elite level (one of the top 2 or 3 at his position) for about five years - which makes him borderline in my book. his rings might tip the balance getting him in.

alas, O-linemen tend not to get their fair share of love from voters. it may be the most overlooked position(s) in all of sports when it comes to accolades.
