To me, “Going all in” requires getting rid of a bunch veterans that have talent but do not help us become a better built team to win playoff games. They’ve been here for years and we haven’t done squat. And btw…replacing a RB or WR in this league is not that difficult. Good teams do it all the time. With mid-level draft picks to boot.
People like Zeke, DLaw, Amari Cooper, Randy Gregory…to name a few need to be gone. Hey we won 9 games this year without DLaw. Amari Cooper averaged about 45 yards per game after mid- season. Zeke? Even before he was injured is not the guy Jerry drafted with the 4th pick in 2016. RG has NEVER played more than 12 games in a season. And we want to “run it back” with these guys again? Makes zero sense to me.
This team needs a financial and cultural haircut. We need some new blood. If you love all the aforementioned guys I say we need to cut…don’t worry. Jerry won’t do it. Because he’s a fantasy football GM, not a real GM.
I wonder if the Bengals would trade their 1st rounder for Tyron? Especially if the Bengals get beat tomorrow....and Burrow gets roughed up again.
