How critical is this 3 game home stand?

If the defense doesn't get better they could easily lose to anyone on their schedule. It does not take a lot of talent to score a TD when your receivers are wide open and uncovered because of a broken coverage. Our defense stinks and it is not getting healthier for a couple more weeks at least. Chido and Brown are out for a few more games.

You would think the very minimum goal for us is 9-7, which means we have to go go 8-5 from here on out, including probably having to go 5-1 in NFC East games. We should also beat Cincinnati, so that's 6 wins.

New York Giants - WIN
Washington Football Team - WIN
Washington Football Team - WIN
Cincinnati Bengals - WIN
Philadelphia Eagles - WIN
New York Giants - WIN

Conceding one loss to an NFC East opponent on the road. that brings us to 7-3
Philadelphia Eagles

Means we would need to go 2-4 against these teams:

Cleveland Browns - big game IMO
Arizona Cardinals - hot and cold, that offense versus our secondary could be a problem
Pittsburgh Steelers - looks like they are healthy and back to being a playoff team
Minnesota Vikings - could be spiraling, should be a win for us/
Baltimore Ravens - not loving our chances here.
San Francisco 49ers - like us, devastated by injuries, could be close to healthy (minus Bosa) by the time they play us

All for the chance to maybe sneak a 1st round win at home and get absolutely mollywhopped in the 2nd round :(

Only as strong as your weakest link and the whole football world has spotted our huckleberries.

Don’t think we get mollywhopped by anyone in the NFC lol. Seattle is arguably the best and we lost on a final possession. All our losses will either be shoot outs or down big make a late comeback and come up short. Sure I don’t think we’d win against TB or GB, I do think we are always a threat to put up points though. Other than that completely agree with post.

Griffin says that is should serve as a good warm up for the season. After the next 3 games we should be operating at around 90% and ready for the season to fully start.

All 3 should be wins as they're home games against teams not considered as talented as the Cowboys. These are the type teams they've been beating up on and we've complained in the past, can't beat the good teams. They need some confidence. A loss to the Browns or Cards and confidence is shot.

I think all games need to taken as critical. They all count in the end. Cowboys are no position nor have they been in a position to overlook anyone. Clearly we have some favorable matchups and this team needs to go out and play good football.

They need to go 3-0. Not for the division...not for anyone else but themselves. They need to do this for them.

Surely we need to win at least 2 out of 3 to get back to .500. We might need to win all 3. But that appears a taller order than originally expected when the season begun.

Not only have we been disappointing or under achieving falling to 1-2 but the Browns and Cardinals at 2-1 are trending up. They don’t appear the more winnable games we originally were looking at when the season kicked off.

What do you think. How many of these do we need to win??
Very important to go 3-0 on the home stand because we could have a 2 game lead on the division.

They've done it normally. And this is the worst the Eagles have been though Commanders are better. If you consider yourself a playoff team you better sweep them.

that’s the question. Does this Dallas team see themselves of a playoff team? Even if this division is garbage, do they believe they can compete with the big boys (Packers, Rams, Seahawks...)?

They think they can. Especially after last game. They think they can compete with the Seahawks. Chiefs may be a different beast but if Packers, Rams and Seahawks are the best the NFC has to offer.....they should think they can compete with them.

Not just the next 3 games, but the next 5.

Really must win the Browns game, as it can get them on the right track, but must win it by not being sloppy as they have been. Including the coaching.
Then the Giants, as being a division games they also must win.
If they were to lose a game it would have to be the Cards.

Now I know the thinking losing to the Browns is an AFC team. Beating the Cards is NFC. But it is a must win as for the psyche of the team overall. This team can't go to 1-3. Though it may not be a total disaster at that point. But would not be very good either.

After that we have 2 road games against the FB Team and Eagles.

Win 4 of the next 5 can be very important, but winning the division games will be huge.

I might agree that the Browns game is most important. Losing it might ignite the dumpster fire.

ALL 3 need to be wins. Drop 2 of these games and we can fughettabout seeing a post season.
