How did that Georgia draft work out for Philly?

You have to wonder with him, though, concerning the dissent in the locker room. Questions about his character hurt his draft stock. His talent is no question.
Idk I haven't heard anything about him.

Their problem in the lockerroom is that they have a frontrunning HC with an abrasive personality that doesn't work when things aren't going well. They also buy into their own hype, and never realized that they weren't as good as 10-1.

Nothing with the players they drafted, I again state their biggest failure this year was due to them losing their DC and OC...it really isn't anything more than this as the teams those 2 went to are already on a quick climb

It seems like all of their coaching was done by their coordinators and left the building.

Well Jalen Carter is one of the best DTs in football so...
He was one of the best rookie DTs in football, which is to be expected as he was the first one selected with a top 10 pick. Kobie Turner for the Rams certainly had a better season than Carter. Right now Carter wouldn't be in the same paragraph as Chris Jones, Aaron Donald, Dexter Lawrence, Javon Hargrave, Quinnen Williams or Justin Madubuike.

Hey if our fans can bash and rule out Mazi in his first season, we can surely do it to the enemies players!!!
You did not pay much attention to Carter's season did you? As much as I agree with your idea of this argument, Carter is and will be very good. He was one of the better DT's this season.

Also who cares about the Eagles... they will be done after Monday, and we will be hopefully preparing for our second playoff game.

lol well you must care, since you've seen so much of him!! I like our guys and watching this team

Draft day the eagles picked up a few Georgia players, which left some of us shaking our head, and maybe a bit worried. Looking at how their season went, the only player that really did anything was Carter. Smith did nothing, Davis was sloppy and useless. Makes you want to laugh even harder at them, please give your thoughts
If we were talking about Dallas draft picks, many (rightfully so) would say you do not rate a draft pick after one season. As much as I hate and am laughing at them right now, what makes Philadelphia's draft any different? Could end up being a bust, and I hope that is true, but it is too early to say.

because a portion of their draft was from georgia like they were trying to stick it to the league or something that Georgia is the best!!!

I don't know. When your QB questions the commitments of his teammates, the problem seems to be more than the head coach. Sure, it's ultimately his responsibility to pull the team together, but a few bad eggs usually start smelling when there's adversity.

So what? Its still too early to rate last year's draft as a bust (for any team). Never heard a single person from Philly, or anywhere, say they were trying to stick it to the league by drafting who they drafted.

Kind of feels like faux outrage to me. But hey, whatever makes you feel better about yourself I guess.

The Eagals problem is not talent, be it Georgia or from any other school. Their issues are directly related to weak coaching and the loss of both starting safeties and a starting LB. They rode the skirt tail of their 2022 season and Lady Luck for their first 11 games. Then reality happened.

Their first rd pick really produced while ours has not

The only draft pick that really shined for us this year was Aubrey

That was my biggest issue on all the praise for Carter when they had lost Javon Hargrave. It's tough for a rookie to step in and fill the shoes of a vet, although Carter has done a decent job of it. Davis is looking like poor choice, though. A player I wanted that they drafted was Milton Williams. Turns out that getting Odighizuwa instead was the better option.

Aubrey wasn't a draft pick. But yeah, while the Eagles are hoping to their picks develop next year, so are we. They haven't done much for us this year.
