lol well you must care, since you've seen so much of him!! I like our guys and watching this team
Then why did you start a post about the Eagles?

I follow the NFL, and can recognize talented players... you want to say Jordan Davis stinks and is a bust? Sure no problem on my end... however you ask anyone (with common sense) on this board, if we could trade Mazi for Carter they would say yes.

I said after the draft, that with all the Georgia players in the past 2 drafts they picked could come back to haunt them.
Just because they all played great together at the college level does not mean it will be the same in the NFL.

However in another year or two will will see. Maybe they do, as I always say, give our draft picks 2 or 3 years. So I will give them the same benefit. However I hope it fails for them of course.

And they did pull a Jerry on a few, by drafting injured players for the future. Not sure either one has worked out yet.
I think they make a change at DC as well. Hopefully they do not try to steal Al Harris for him to go back home to Philly.

The eagles draft probably worked out for Philly better than the Cowboys draft worked out for them. Glad they are struggling though. Hope their season ends shortly. Won’t count them out tho.

Their first rd pick really produced while ours has not

The only draft pick that really shined for us this year was Aubrey
Nope.

Carter has been a disappointment in Philly thus far.

And Mazi wasn't a first-round pick. The first round effectively ends between pick 15-20, then the talent left is pretty much all the same through the early part of the 3rd round.

Our draft really hasn't panned out yet, but Overshown was hurt in preseason, and the roster is pretty complete already. Need to shore up linebacker and nose tackle still.

Carter is phenomenal and Davis looks like a bust

Certainly did a lot more than Mazi; not even close.
At this point, but he also had better surrounding talent. But as of recently, why is he not making players around him better.
Go ahead and love the Eagles players. It is your right to do so. I like some of them, but I a not going to slobber over them.

Draft day the eagles picked up a few Georgia players, which left some of us shaking our head, and maybe a bit worried. Looking at how their season went, the only player that really did anything was Carter. Smith did nothing, Davis was sloppy and useless. Makes you want to laugh even harder at them, please give your thoughts
Philly has issues. Issues beyond what the GM can deal with. IMO he made the smart moves. But he can't play for the players. Let's consider ourselves lucky to some extent that it hasn't worked out for them.

Jordan Davis is too fat and overweight. He is a bust.

Yes he is.

Hey, if you want to use some metrics that rate him well below Odighizuwa (who they also rate right next to Aaron Donald), you do you. If the same measurements show Justin Madubuike, who had at least half a sack in an astonishing 13 out of 17 games (including 11 in a row) as far inferior to Maliek Collins and Adam Butler, even more of a testimonial.
