How did we lose to this team? Plus just didn’t just lose got killed at home ! If Jones keeps Zimm and McCarthy next year will be just as bad. Every one saying keep McCarthy on 2 wins one against the pitiful Giants!
Can you say defense sucked

Hold that thought, you might be saying the same thing after next weeks game against the Carolina Panthers

Carolina almost went into Philly and won Sunday . They are back on the Bryce Young bandwagon and will draft another position in April . They are playing hard for a rookie coach .

they seem to have started hot. caught the cowboys defense not knowing what they were doing. when you score 6 stratight drives of 80, 70, 70. 70, 72, 70.....and not because of turnovers, your defense ain't having a good day.

then they fell off the earth for some reason. they could do no wrong against the cowboys and then against eagles they lost their mojo.

The Saints running game kept getting to and around the corner - particularly around their LT. And Derek Carr was hitting Cowboys with some chunk completions - his 11 completions amassed 243 yards! He had TDs of 70 and 57 yards.

I'd say the biggest reason (and I said it at the time) was all the praise the Cowboys defense got for stifling the Browns in Week 1.

You know that soft group saw their praise in the headlines all week and started smelling their own farts and probably didn't prepare worth a damn.

Dak was also awful, but that's not entirely the point.

The Saints were a much different team in week two. Remember they started off red hot and were the highest scoring team in the league after the first two games. The problem for the Cowboys was simply playing them early in the season.
Common sense was thrown out the window a long time ago, around here. Everyone is just reaching right now.

The Saints started the season like juggernauts blowing out the Panthers and Cowboys. They were a different team then and would struggle against both teams now. Teams evolve as the season progresses. Some get worse while others get better. The Cowboys don’t look as awful now as they did earlier in the season. However, that could change tonight against a high octane Bengals offense.

Their strengths exploit the Cowboys weaknesses. It is a matchup thing, kind of like when Dallas plays Arizona and SF. The Saints are a shell of themselves now but would still give Dallas fits.
This! I cannot for the life of me understand how people don't grasp this. A team that is really good at running the ball is always going to be a problem for the Cowboys. The Saints ran the ball at will, stayed out of 3rd and long, or 3rd and anything as I recall because they often only need 2 downs to get a first down, which negated our pass rush. Throw in that our defense was still figuring out Zim's scheme and calls and it was a recipe for disaster. The Cowboys are better now both in stopping the run AND running the ball but I think they would still struggle with the Saints.

People don’t understand the Xs and Os of the game.

It’s all about matchups especially in the NFL when the entire league is an elite talent.

I don’t think the bengals win tonight if if they pass 40 times if Diggs and Bland play. If they force the run and get Brown going we could be in trouble

Not sure how long you’ve been following football but that was in week two. You’re living in the moment. The Saints are obviously not the same team they were the first two weeks of the season. A number of teams are either playing worse or better than they were in September. Teams evolve as the season goes on.

I don't think they will. They suffer from the same disease that we see here where they give the run game lip service and force the QB into 40 to 50 passes per game. It happened the last time we played them as well. Mixon was red hot running all over people and I think they gave him seven carries against us and lost.
