How did we lose to the Saints?

The Saints were a much different team in week two. Remember they started off red hot and were the highest scoring team in the league after the first two games. The problem for the Cowboys was simply playing them early in the season.
No, the problem was the coaching staff not having the right schemes and not getting the players ready to play. We need a HC like DQ, not some milquetoast loser like FAMM.

This! I cannot for the life of me understand how people don't grasp this. A team that is really good at running the ball is always going to be a problem for the Cowboys. The Saints ran the ball at will, stayed out of 3rd and long, or 3rd and anything as I recall because they often only need 2 downs to get a first down, which negated our pass rush. Throw in that our defense was still figuring out Zim's scheme and calls and it was a recipe for disaster. The Cowboys are better now both in stopping the run AND running the ball but I think they would still struggle with the Saints.
the saints have the 27th ranked rushing attack in the league. people can grasp that teams known for running the ball really well will be a propblem. the saints are not known for that, and haven't the rest of the year.

How did we lose to this team? Plus just didn’t just lose got killed at home ! If Jones keeps Zimm and McCarthy next year will be just as bad. Every one saying keep McCarthy on 2 wins one against the pitiful Giants!
The Saints were healthy and hot. Carr was on fire and hit the big deep ball to their receiver who was lost for the season shortly after that game.

Yet we suck because of injuries...even though we had basically the whole team in that game.
Bland was the only key player out. His absence certainly wasn’t the reason we got destroyed.

The Saints looked like world beaters back then, remember Kamara and their Oline plowing through Dallas D and scoring every drive, damn, I had nightmares for a week. Also our D was still learning a new scheme in that game.

It's not who you play, it's when you play them...

You need a mediocre HC with an average record (54-49) that has a .524 winning percentage and can't stop the run? And don't forget a DQ coached team choked away one of the biggest leads ever in a Super Bowl.

McCarthy record is (169–104) with a winning percentage of .627. And McCarthy won the Super Bowl he coached in.

I swear many Cowboys fans CRAVE MEDIOCRITY every chance they can get It.

Injuries have hampered their entire offense since our game but at that point in the season they were running the hell outta the ball. But Hill and Kamara are always good for missing a few games being hurt and then playing in a compromised state a couple others. We caught them when they were healthy and we were still trying to figure out Zim's defense.. which I'm not completely convinced we still have.

Soft defense like I keep telling yall. Physically and mentally. That's why the saints smacked them

What was reported here in Louisiana
Kubiak combined his offense with aspects of what Carr had done well in Oakland. It was just a combination of the early teams not having any film that came available later and then later some fairly substantial injuries especially their WR room and the bottom fell out.
What’s was frustrating was watching the Saints repeatedly beat our secondary with the exact same plays they had beaten Carolina the previous week. I get 6 days is a far cry from a DC having the whole summer to watch film on upcoming seasons opponents but I could recognize some of the obvious alinements from the previous week!

Because they played the Panthers and the Cowboys. When you get to play two bad defenses your offense looks good.

I think the Saints at halftime of that game were averaging 37 yards a play. That is just awful defense.

We lost to the Saints because Dak sucks this year, and Jerry hired Zimmer to give us a crappy defense.
