How did you guys feel about Turpins usage?

with his speed there's no reason he shouldn't be targeted 3-4 times a game in some capacity. So 3 carries, and 3 passing targets, I don't really have a problem with that.

I stand by my statement that you need to stay in your lane you're not a coach you're not a professional and you're not correct in this situation.. We don't know what Turpin can do we're just now seeing that and that was what the coaches point was to start calling these plays in this game....... So again stay in your lane dude you're sounding like a know it all like you have this giant head and your ego and you think you're right and you're not.. There will be plenty of game situations where deuce fawn will get his chance and we will see.. We are giving teams more to think about and we're practicing plays we otherwise could not in a closer game.... Now you are right in hindsight you were not right about the game plan or the way they looked at the game things change..... Blind squirrel can find a nut clocks right twice a day when broken yeah we got all the saying but you ain't a coach and you are not better than what the coaching staff can bring...

because your opinion does not trump the coaches decisions and opinions because it worked and it was a blowout so it's unnecessary for you to think that your plan would have worked better because we all know the truth that's not an opinion you're literally trying to say you could have done it better is that your plan would have worked better in a 40 to nothing blowout you know precious that is your ego needs to be checked at the door bro..

Felt like a higher volume of touches than I'd prefer, but hard to argue with it.

I don't like him getting those touches around the goalline, he can't finish.

I mean he did finish though....I may even agree with the fact he needs touches but diferent than goalline touches... but he did get the job done.

I mean the TD was a nice run, but I don't buy that Pollard, Dowdle, whoever wouldn't have scored there too. That's a pretty easy finish for most NFL RBs.

I can't find the clip, but I didn't like at all the play where he got tackled inside the 5 and got absolutely rocked. I think he had the outside shoulder of the defender, and all he needed to do was push forward.

I think having him carry the ball as a RB is putting unneeded risk on your Pro Bowl Returner. I'd rather have Deuce get those touches, that is his wheelhouse. If you want to get Turpin the ball, I say sprinkle him in as a WR.

Giving him rushes makes it harder for a defense to key on.

Now teams have to defend the box when he's in and not just the edges.

What McCarthy did sprinkling in Turpin the backfield.. Deuce at slot receiver, Luepke as the H-back was to create hours and hours of film study for opposing DCs. Which is exactly what you're supposed to do when you have a game in hand from about the middle of 2nd quarter on. Actually from about the middle of the first quarter I stopped feeling like the Giants had any chance against our defense. So that enabled Big Mike to just toy with the Giants' defense and really every DC in the league but rolling out about a hundred different personnel packages.

Just send him deep, his speed will distract the defense and open the middle of the field. Give Deude his touches, Turp is gonna get nailed and drop the ball if they keep putting him in traffick.

Yes. That’s what I was meaning. If he does produce and not fumble(consistently) then I’ll have little to complain about. And yes that td counted as production.
